The All of It

 Someone's enjoying the fire!
 Loved the bag....just not practical
Cut open the pumpkin for our squirrels' Thanksgiving
Read on a blog, (Whose?) that this was a great Irish book.
It is very very short.  It was okay.
Thought I'd read it before I gave it to my friend Helen.
My mom might have loved it.

Slow roasted a turkey breast at 175 degrees for hours yesterday.
You start at 450 for 15 minutes then turn it down.
And then you wait and wait for hours.
But it was
Moist
Delicious
A winner of a way to roast our turkey

There's been knitting of course.
Cotton scarf knitting.
This two circs thing slows me down but I'm enjoying it none the less.

That's the All of It here today!

That photo of Fezzik is just the epitome of "HOME". He looks like he is truly enjoying the fire.

Hanging out in front of a fire and having slow roasted turkey for dinner...sounds perfect.

No fireplace here, but I do have a fireplace video that I pop into the DVD player occasionally. It's fun to knit in front of a roaring fire.

Right now, there is a small roast in the oven with some carrot chunks. I haven't eaten beef in ages, so I hope it's good.

Love the smell of roasted turkey and I think I'll be making one for our Christmas dinner. Our lab Chloe lays in front of our gas fireplace jut like your kitty does. Knitting, a fire and Christmas movies. That's what our weekend has been all about.
Blessings,
Betsy

Fezzik looks like a happy cat. Nothing like toasting your tummy by the fire! I'm all about brining and fast-roasting turkeys at high heat. :) Squirrel looks plump and contented, and what a great bag!

Lucky squirrel. Ours are brown here. How interesting to roast a turkey that way! How long did it take altogether?

Love the image of Fezzik in front of the fire.. he is one well-loved cat. That seems low to roast a turkey! After my 4th day of eating leftovers.. I'm over it. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Well it takes a long time Stefanie. It can take really long if it is a whole turkey. Like 17 hours. ...
