A Wonderful Week

My family was together all week. !!!
Al flew in for a few.

The pattern is called FLYING HOME!
She knit this Quince and Co pattern out of a skein of charity yarn.
All yarn proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders.
I NEVER thought we would be a running family.
NEVER.
Last night we all went running together.
A preserve near us has a solar lit trail.
It was cold but kind of spooky and kind of cool.
We ALL wore hand knit hats for the run.
Zach took this amazing shots at the Pilsen day of the Dead
parade/procession on Monday.
It has been a wonderful week.

Fantastic to have the whole family together!

I love Al's shawlette: did you get the name of the pattern?

That's a lovely shawlette! Love the colors in the yarn. And yes, please do share the name of the pattern if you have it.

The nighttime run sounds fun!

How nice that you got some family time. The Mister and I were just saying that it's been years since any of the kids have even seen our Christmas tree. They never visit-especially on holidays. We go to them. My mother would have never stood for that. I'm getting them for Thanksgiving this year-or else. Daughter's new mother in law has already had a fit about it. It's hard sharing your kids for the holidays.

It's always a good week when you have all your kids back in the nest for a little bit.

Any day with the family together is a great one! (2 weeks 'til ours is together for a bit). We are a running family...I wonder if we'll get one done together? That shawl is lovely!

What a cool parade. Those glowing drumsticks are fun. Pretty shawl. I like how the lace shows up wonderfully in that variegated color. And I love how all of your family are runners!
