My Neighborhood is Haunted

 My neighborhood is haunted.
Here are the last of this year's images for y'all.
One street in particular is amazing.
House after house is lit up and spooky.
It is Henley Street in Glenview if you want to drive by, if you are local.

 See Dracula is dead
A couple of houses have these lights that throw witches and ghosts across the garage...very cool

I've yet to have a candy bar.
Oh Butterfinger
Oh Baby ruth
how I love thee

What's your favorite Halloween candy?

Wow!!! Ya'll do it up right!
I am very ashamed to admit that I am a big candy corn fan. Yes, I know. It's awful but every bite is a trip to Halloweens past. I can't do without it. Happy haunting!
They go all out! Is it this way at Christmas, too? I like salty, sweet combos, so Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is a favorite.

Oh that is a VERY hard question! It would be a toss up between Kit Kat or Three Muskateers.

But I haven't had a candy bar in a very, VERY long time. Being diabetic I have to be very selective about my treats and candy doesn't check in very high on my list.

I cannot get over the amount of festivity and decoration your neighborhood goes through for Halloween. Do you guys rock it like this for Christmas as well? I don't really eat Halloween Candy Bars anymore, but I had a Whatchmacallit recently and that was spectacular. I like to make candybar cookies with leftover Halloween Candy. hehe.

Wow, I haven't seen any real decorations at all this year. But I am also a Snickers fan....try not to eat them though....

Oh, gosh. This me laugh because I *just* dipped into the Halloween candy (hehe). I'm eating a BabyRuth as I type this. I love that your neighborhood really gets into the spirit of things. Halloween is a big deal in New England, too. Our town has a huge parade on the last Sunday of October. And, of course, Salem (of the infamous witch trials) is just up the road. BIG haunted happenings there.

It's hard to narrow down to one favorite, but I can tell you what I HATED when I was trick-or-treating: peanut butter taffy wrapped in black or orange wax paper. It must have been the cheapest candy, because lots of people gave it out.

(My face is honest-to-goodness squinching up as I type this.)

Might have to take a look on my way home.

I haven't had a candy bar-- can't be said about chocolate chip cookies that I made for my parents yet decided to keep for my husband and I. I figured we both needed it since there has been a lot of stress in our lives lately.

Not quite decorated like that around me but I do see many neighborhoods between my place and my parents that are quite decorated.

Your neighborhood is definitely decked out for the holiday.

My favorite candy is Skor but a Heath bar is good, too.
