An Alpaca Hat for Zach

Made Zach a Rowan hat with mistakes.
Ripped it out because he wore it with mistakes and it drove ME crazy.
Reknit the hat in Rowan with a perfect crown.
Zach prefers slouch hats.
Gave that one to Fireman.

Went to My LYS Saturday.
7 photo texts later Zach and I agree on a yarn color.

Green.
Rowan Alpaca.
SO SO warm.

Knit Zach another hat.
Good to go!

I love a slouchy hat! My husband prefers a watch cap style. I dunno what The Kid likes, something he won't lose I suppose! Great job Kathy! I bet that Alpaca is super soft!

It's not easy knitting for the menfolk. They know what they like and that's that. Since I started a cardi for Son, The Mister has been making noises about me making him a sweater next. Arghhh.....

Great hat, great model! A friend and I were talking about the same thing in class yesterday - how much others enjoy our projects and never even notice the mistakes that we can't NOT see and make us crazy! Must be universal. 😋

Good work on the hat! Mistakes bug me, too, but in our quilt group the saying is, "If you can't see it from 30 feet on a galloping horse, it's fine!" Great pumpkin, too.
