My Baby holding A Baby

Hmmm, wonder what Zach's doing at yesterday's family party.

Oh, he's googling baby stuff...
NOT.

I plopped my niece's new little one in his arms.

Miss Emma Rose to be specific
is darling in his arms.
Suffice to say she did not spew any baby goop on him.
Then I promptly stole her for myself, which was the ploy all along.
I knit another hat this weekend.
Cascade 220 sale wool from my LYS .
Simple pattern from Knit'N Style.
Encore worsted pattern.
I changed the cast on count to 80 down from 88.

Glad I did.

I'm still working on the never ending baby blanket.

I need to cast on for an alternate knit though.
The blanket is getting heavy.
Hmm, fingerless next?
Not sure.

How was your weekend?

I remember before my kids had kids that it was fun to plop a baby in their arms to see what they would do. Handsome son and cute baby! I crocheted on my neverending wedding afghan. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Zach is so handsome! And holding a baby...too cute. Kathy, that's a great knitted hat; looks like it fits perfectly! I'm knitting an afghan... and it's starting to get heavy. It's almost to warm to work on.

Darling baby...and your baby is quite handsome. I spent part of my weekend cleaning. Every fall I get the urge to deep clean. I took a break Saturday afternoon to go to my knitting group.
Nice hat...you must be a fast knitter or you have a longer attention span than me if you knit it all in a weekend.

We had an amazingly busy weekend.......football and then a day at the beach. I'm really feeling the results of being TOO busy.

Zach and the baby are ADORABLE!

Someone is so ready to be a grandma! Just look at that precious bow. What a cutie. How do you manage to get those hats done so quickly?

Zach looks pretty comfortable with that precious bundle in his arms.

I'm knitting a never-ending shawl, but it's a pleasant knit.
