It's Beginning to Look a Lot like .....Fall

Do you have Affy Tapples By you?
Do you have your candy corn?
The summer took so long to start, and the CUBS are in the playoffs so it feels like an odd Fall.

But
 WE'll take it!
Time to work on socks.
This is the Knitting Fever replacement yarn.
Nice warm socks coming...
I've already knit a hat with the skein and I've enough left to make a pair of shorty socks.
Thanks Katherine!!

We watched the Blood Moon turn red.
Did you get a chance to see it?
Arooooooooo!

I didn't see the blood moon but I got a wee peek at the eclipse before it was covered in clouds tonight.
Caramel apples and candy corn. Mmmm...I went on a fall scented candle jag today buying a bag in both Yankee Candle and Walmart. It's going to smell good in here tomorrow.

I just returned from watching the red moon.. but a terrible time trying to capture the elusive thing. Argh. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I did get to see the eclipse this morning but didn't see the moon turn red. I woke up at 3 am and it was still bright and glowing and full. Then my husband woke me up at 5 am to see the eclipse. I think it must turn red as the eclipse is starting. Lovely yarn you are working with. Have a great week.

Your sock is great - the stripes look fabulous on the cuff. Is it self-striping yarn?

No, I didn't see the red moon.

Hooray for the sock! Not hooray for my stinking Rays who are in LAST place!

I got to see various stages of the eclipse, but I never did see a red moon. It was white the whole time I was observing.

Nice sock, for sure, and it will be warm!

Oh yes, I love shorty socks. Yours are great colors! I've had candy corn for the last week and it has lasted. I'm so surprised! I'm even more surprised that the Cubs are in the playoffs. Go Cubs!

We had to drive up the hill to see it but it was worth it!

In 5th and 6th grade we bought affy tapples at school. Once a year fund raiser. It was my fave. I still buy only this brand.
