A Very Odd Hat
So ....I am in a hat making mood.
I wanted to use up some sock yarn, Regia, for a hat.
I found the ABC pattern For the Fair Isle Earflap Hat and cast on.
You knit the whole thing on straights and seam up the back when finished.
You pick up the brim stitches and knit 2 by 2 rib for 20 rows.
You pick up the crown stitches and work decrease rows.
Shhh, I haven't seamed it yet.
It was fun to reconstruct a hat in a different way.
I did not want the flaps.
Would I knit another?
Not likely.
Not likely.
I'm casting on for a new hat today.
The photos from my iphone....meh...not loving them.
It appears as though I have a filter on the lens but I do not.
Hmmmm.
Maybe I'll put my fisheye lens on again and see what happens.
Still not willing to buy a new camera.
Hope you don't mind!

I will be honest all my photos are iphone photos. I am not a good enough photographer to get a fancy slr thing and I'm too lazy to consistently upload from a point and shoot to my computer or drive in the sky. I use natural lighting as much as possibly or a combination of house light/ natural window lighting, but no flash. fuss with focus by picking a spot within the frame to focus on , sometimes it changes the lighting. sometimes I pick something just outside the center. Really at the end of the day it's fussing, right? And sometimes it looks great and sometimes it's Ok. hehe.
You asked if riding a 4-wheeler hurts my back. Not at all. In fact the movement seems to help strengthen those muscles. If I'm going over really rough terrain, my arms may get a little sore keeping the wheels where I want them to go, but that's about it.
I need to learn how to take photos with the camera on my Chromebook because I hate downloading then uploading photos from my camera. It takes soooooo long.
Keep working with the phone. You'll figure out how to get pictures you want!
