In the past month I think about 25 trees in my subdivision came down because of the Emerald Ash. So sad. One of them was right in front of my townhouse and it lent some privacy --Now Not so much.

It's always so sad when a tree has to come down.

I do like your multiple one words! (I'm celebrity-challenged, so I'm afraid you'll have to tell me who he is.)

So funny. The celebrity is my son! Zach teaches at our town school so he is spotted everywhere he goes!

So many trees around my subdivision and surrounding areas are dying! All kinds of trees - not just one particular one. Not sure what is going on. The tree in our front yard is almost "gone" and will come down next year I'm sure. I dread it! And then one of the trees in the backyard is not doing well. I hate it when trees die....

Trees are supposed to live forever so it's always such a shock to lose one.
I get that celebrity thing. When I was teaching it happened to me all the time. Once I was shopping for bras and a parent (dad) and I locked eyes while I was holding one up to myself to see check the fit. I always thought he was imaging me in that very bra after that. Creepy.

It's so dry here that lots of trees and shrubs are dying. Very sad!

Lots of dead trees in my area, too. Last Fall the temperature fell too quickly over night and stayed cold, so the trees didn't have the opportunity to properly prepare for Winter.
