Nothing But FUN

You probably know my love for Donna Booshay and her daughters runs deep.
This is Emma incognito...
she wasn't trying to be!
I don't think she is in the Knittress protection program..but I'm not sure.
I do know you wouldn't ever want to hide her beautiful face.
Funny how this image turned out.

I love the EASY button at Staples.
I may have to get one.
When you press it, it says, "That was Easy"
The yarn that Channon gifted me when we first met FINALLY got knitted this week.  I love the color swirls.
The yarn just wasnt sure what it wanted to be for a bit.
I'm in a hat making mood.

I cast on 104 stitches on size 2 circs.
Knit in 2 by 2 rib for about 2 inches.
Switched to size 4 and knit all around .
After a few inches I worked a
k2tog yo row.
I did this 4 times during my hat creation.
After 8 inches were knit from the brim
I started hat decreases in the usual fashion and bound off.

I dont know if you can call that a pattern!!!
But That was EASY.

I have a quick mom story from the other night.
We were talking about appliances breaking.
I asked mom if she remembered how her Ice machine on the fridge door was always breaking.
She said: " I never knew if it would give me an ice cube or lay an egg!"
Oh mom. You make me laugh even now with your dementia.

Find a way to laugh today. Okay?

Nice colors on the hat! Your mom's icemaker sounds like ours! Maybe there was a chicken stuck in it? Hugs to you and your mom.
Love the icemaker story! And the hat looks great....

Excellent job on the hat. I think the pattern and the yarn is a good match. Your Mom definitely has a good sense of humor. heh.

Funny Mom story. My favorite Daddio story is that if you ask him about Mom he always calls her "wigwam". Her name was Libby-where wigwam comes from I have no idea but I know she would think it was funny. The brain is a crazy thing.
Cute hat! I can't wait for hat weather.

That picture is too funny how it turned out...and ironic. With Miz Boo as my mom you know my face is far from hidden from the world! She sent me this link a few weeks ago and it is in my online "shopping cart" now. http://www.purlbee.com/2015/07/06/learn-to-knit-a-hat-in-the-round-kit/ - have not done in the round yet
