Birthday Joys

It is no secret that I love MY birthday.
I'm not sure why it isn't a National Holiday.
Wouldn't you all love another summer holiday?

Al came in Thursday night and we started the OPENING ceremonies.

Ellen from The ELLEN REPORT timed her Yarn gift perfectly.
She says she didn't know it was my birthday.
Ellen, silly girl, surely you jest.
Your Lorna's laces gifty was perfection.
I'm dreaming of a New Pattern, Just like the ones I used to know...but different.

Dear Neighbor Abby found me this:
 (Needs no words)
In an effort to grow and learn, I made homemade Ceasar salad dressing. (Google Taste Of Home Easy Ceasar salad dressing recipe that someone's sister invented without eggs)   This had a little to do with the fact that we are having a party tomorrow and The only thing we can eat that is not on the menu is a small head of romaine lettuce.
I miss my neighbor Abby for lots of reasons, but one was that she always let me use her fridge. You need a pal like that right?
Dear Veterinarian Sister Michelle sent tiny fun gifts.
She knows me well, and this bag was made by AS YOU WISH.
(Princess Bride movie ref....duh!)
The Doorbell rang in the best possible way and there were FLOWERS for me.
AHhhh Kim you are so busy with the Knitters Hunk and Chick contest AND you remembered my Birthday?
There's some kind of wonderful there lady!
This is the most darling arrangement of all time and no points are involved.

Lynn, momma of Mr Whiskers and Teddy and now, Kady Sue,
Sent the cats gifts!  This cube lays flat and pops right open.
Beatles was inside in a flash.
She also send great toys to entertain them.

Katherine, my sweet pal in Texas, sent me a LITTLE knits gift card. I'm going to order my first spindle. YUP , this is the official announcement.
I'm going to be a Spins HER.

Please, party on!  In my honor.
55 rocks so far!

Happy, happy Birthday to you!!! Enjoy the festivities. What a great PB bag. Sending you a birthday hug from Wisconsin, where it's hotter than hades and stickier than molasses. Probably just like your weather. :D

I hope you are still celebrating my friend! I'm glad you like the yarn. I'm going to have to track down that Cat lady purse. I have a knit club friend here that will go bonkers for it.
