So much knitting

I'm Full o knit thoughts today

I'm in the mood to rip.  Im not making the poncho after knitting on it for a solid week and getting about ten inches knit.  Much more excited to make yarn inspirations sheepish shrug. Same yarn better result!

Al is going to get her Master Knitters certification and is awaiting her kit

She plans on knitting wingspan in Gina in blues and ocean greens

She is knitting the adorable Adeline by heirloom stitches in spud and Chloe fine
She is making it for her friends baby yet unborn but diagnosed with Down syndrome

I am planning to knit a toy in oh my!  I found a one seam pattern yesterday

We are full of knit goodness this week!

What was the last thing you ripped and when?

I just tossed a shawl I made. I did not like the yarn even enough to even frog it to get the yarn. Thank goodness it was sale yarn or I really would have been peeved because I had spent time and money on knitting the thing.

Cute shrug.

Well, it wasn't too long ago that I ripped out a whole bunch of socks. ;-)

I just frogged a mitten. It was in time out for over a year before it got the death penalty. My knitting mojo has disappeared with the heat. Even light lace is an effort.

That is so nice to make a knit item for her friends upcoming baby. What toy are you going to make? I need more white alpaca! Have a super weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I almost frogged the shrug I am knitting. It is 38 inches long and doubled to make the sleeve openings so I thought I would probably finish it next year some time. I changed my mind though because it is currently 20 inches and I can't stand to lose all that work. I WILL finish it. I WILL finish it!

I did a bunch of ripping a few weeks ago. It took me a while to find the right pattern for my Kudo yarn.
Master Knitter! That sounds daunting.
I so admire people who chose a child with a special need. As a special education teacher, I have worked with a number of kids with Down Syndrome. I hate it when people say things like, "Oh, they are so sweet!" Some of them are, but they are individuals just like the rest of us!
I love that shrug, but couldn't find the pattern on Rav. Any helpful hints?

Will get the pattern name for you. It was a ravelry pattern but they can be hard to find

Kudos to Al for taking the Master Knitting course. Don't the participants have to design something as well?

I've eyed a couple of shrug patterns but haven't made one.

Love the look of that shrug. Al is fearless - and so very talented.

I haven't frogged too recently, but I haven't been doing my knitting either. Just don't ask about my numerous works in progress.
