New Ideas

I think this falls in the
Pretty Sure I Could Make This department.
As soon as the tongs go on clearance, I buying 5 pair and making this wreath.
I saw it (stole the idea) from my local Farmer's Market yesterday.
 Their flowers were so beautiful.
How did I forget to plant easy peasy Zinnia's this year?
I'm pulling a Cullerton these days.
This means I am finally knitting a shrug just like my pal KFC knits all the time.
She's a smart cookie. This is a fun easy project and I'm loving the results so far.
Finally, my hot weather tip for you:
buy some of this thermal spring water spray and
give yourself a spritz every few on these hot humid days.
Odorless and refreshing....I found it at Target.

Have you found anything new lately?

Who'da thunk? A flip-flop wreath. I would go well with the "vodka tree" I saw in New Smyrna Beach.

I LOVE zinnias. I can't grow them here but I love their big pops of color they give to a garden especially once it gets hot and everything else starts to fade. Nothing new here......oh wait. I have a NEW grandson! It was hard to hand him over and come home last night. New babies are just the sweetest things. I could hold him forever.

Love those zinnias! What's new here is our clouds are back, and it has cooled off!

What a cute wreath made of thongs. I have not seen the spritz you brought to our attention, but it sure looks like a great idea for a hot summer's day!!

I love zinnias also! My Mom always had them planted in our yard growing up. So they make me think of her when I see them. Those and snapdragons!

Coming to you from Las Vegas today.. sitting in our hotel room at Planet Hollywood looking at the amazing fountain at the Bellagio and staring at the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel.. I hope you make that flip flop wreath.. that would look fun next to a pool. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

My nephew's wife would LOVE that wreath!

Zinnias are gorgeous. They remind me of Late Summer and Early Fall gardens.
