Simple Bloggers are The Best

Amy from Lovemademyhome posts 5 things about your week, on Friday.  She asks others to join up.
I love this about blogging.
I love reading about your/our very ordinary lives.
The commonality and camaraderie amongst knit and crochet bloggers is the best thing in cyberspace, if you ask me.
We celebrate the ordinary.
We share the small joys in our lives.
There was no way to do this just a few years ago.
When folks complain about the negatives about computers, I thank God for them.

1.
Sometimes,  I have to crochet.
I sat on my porch in silence last night and made this dishcloth.
The yarn is cotton and I doubled it.
Row upon row of scooping with my right hand to make the string become a thing.

 2. This Angora bunny made the rounds on Facebook.
I dream of raising a few of them and going from fur to fiber.
Shhhh, don't tell fireman just yet.

3.
I was at the shelter helping out quite a bit this week.
I entered names and numbers for the new volunteer sign in system.
I loved seeing what kind of email addressed folks come up with that say something about them.

4.
The weather has changed here and I know this, because my hands are not cracking and dry.

5.
Still waiting for my rose bushed to show off!

I love my blogging buddies! Knitting bloggers seem to come up with the most interesting, thought provoking and outright fun posts of any in blogdom. And you are a top fun poster Kathy!

That's a bunny? At first I though it was a cute little puppy. Rabbit. Really? I want a dozen!

On our schedule for when-I'm-in-Illinois, you must add teaching me to crochet. I am hopeless.

I like simple, honest blogs best, too. If I go to one that is overly commercialized with ads popping up and ads down the whole side and ads flipping on and off.. I can't get away fast enough. To me, blogs are for making friends and sharing, not making money. I had an Angora rabbit once.. very cute but a lot of work to keep it free of matts. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

1. It rained all week and I loved it.
2. I ate an entire pound of homemade macaroni salad in two days(!)and I loved it too.
3. I bought some tussah silk to add to soap.
4. I discovered my cat has been eating Pup's pee pee pads. Not good. I had to buy a tray to put them in so he can't chew on the edges.
5. I started the Medicaid process for Daddio and signed the papers to sell his house. Heartaches galore. Time for a gin and tonic and a carefree weekend. Happy Friday!
Five very good things!!! Thank you so much for joining in. I hope that you have a great weekend! xx
