Great Vest Construction and we Have a WINNER

***Thank  you ALL for your caring comments regarding Rozzy's passing.  It means so much.  We are having those waves of grief on and off today.   The sun is shining and I know she is peaceful and happy with Huck.   I could not bear leaving the house knowing she fell behind the kitchen radiator last week and was hysterical.  I was so afraid it would happen again and I wouldn't be home.
So many things said it was time, but it was still awful,  You KNOW!

***
I was at Three Bags Full taking photos for their blog and met a woman named Babette. She was wearing this vest that she knit.
I love the construction.  The sides are buttoned.  I think I could knit this!  She is going to look for the pattern name for me.

In FUN contest news, Number generator picked 20 which belonged to Donna from Quiet Life!
Hooray. Donna I will get the yarn and cards to you next week.!
You all know that Donna and I became real/pretend friends years ago.  It was fair and square though, I assure you.

****
My plan today is to nap.
I didnt sleep well and am pooped.
THEN
I am going to start a new shawl knit and finish my cowl.
I can't wait to show you both.

*** Happy Spring Forward Weekend.
It feels warm and springlike outside despite all the snow remaining.
We are ecstatic for 40s!

Congratulations to Donna!

Interesting vest. I hope you'll share the pattern name/designer when you get it.

That vest looks like an easy one to figure out on your own. Can't wait to see what shawl you're making. I have a shawl to crochet next on my list with my big skein of natural white alpaca. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

You are still in my thoughts as I know you are very sad. New projects help I think.

That is a very unusual construction for the vest.

It will take a while before you feel right again -- but you will!
