Etsy browsing....

I found these cat pins on ETSY this morning.
It is somewhat dangerous for a crazy cat lady to be stuck inside for too long with no desire to venture outside in the Chicago March.
I didn't order anything.
I am just WINDOW haha Safari, shopping.
This Super Dee Dooper Big Yarn is so popular you have to wait to get some on Etsy.  Its nearly 200 dollars for a skein.
I see tendon and joint pain, with those needles.
However, even I may not drop a stitch in that gauge.
What would that gauge be exactly?
The ply is more than an inch anyhow...

See What you learn on Etsy?
I'm intrigued by this crochet ring.
What?
You crochet with a ring. ?

This fascinates me enough to watch a you tube video.
Do you finger crochet?

Do you arm knit?

Oh and while we are asking questions, Does anyone have a really wonderful black bean burger recipe?
I'd love to try it.

Back to my ETSY shopping....

So did you succumb to the little kitties? They are adorable and probably don't cost too much to feed. LOL Funny, I was going to ask you whether you arm knit? How are you doing on melting that snow?

That ring looks like something I've seen knitters wear to keep tension consistent.

And I can go on etsy and stay and stay and stay!

If you knit with that giant yarn you sure would get good arm muscles.

I can't imagine keeping control of needles that big. YIKES!

The kitty pins are adorable. Looks like maybe they are made with upholstery fabric.

Cute cat pins.. but I'll pass on yarn that big and have no desire to arm knit.. but to each his own. You should treat yourself to something though.. retail therapy works. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I eat black bean burgers all the time. You just grind up a can of them-drained and rinsed, of course with enough panko bread crumbs for them to stick together. You can add any seasonings or grated onion if you want. You roll them in more crumbs before frying for a crispy crust. I top mine with fresh salsa. Some people add eggs to bind them. I don't and they don't fall apart.

No on the recipe but that huge yearn is intriguing. I think the crochet ring is to keep an even tension, but I am not sure about that one.

I've only purchased a few items on Etsy: yarn (most recently), rug frame, quilt labels.

It been a grim March in our part of the world, hasn't it?

$200 for a skein? It's probably worth it, but I can't get over the sticker shock.

I haven't done black bean burgers, but every vegan cookbook seems to have a recipe!

Fascinating. The crochet ring... the huge yarn at an even bigger price... I might be ready to play with yarn again.
