Baby Boy Blanket

You are going to kill me, but I don't have specifics about this beautiful baby blanket.
(My friend Diane, brought a book to me yesterday.
SHEEPISH: two women, fifty sheep and Enough wool to save the planet, is the book.   It is written by Catherine Friend.
Diane says I'll love it so I know I will.)

She took out this blanket to show me, also.
It is for her first grandchild: a baby boy due any day!
Oh I'm thrilled for her.
I think this blanket is magnificent.
Several family members knit panels.
It was soft and I had to ask her if I could photograph it.
What an amazing blanket!

Okay, so this is our weather.
Lovely eh?
Zach and I decided to go to a Chicago Bulls game.
We had a blast.
 Benny the Bull flew overhead.
Joakim Noah is my favorite Bulls player
He is professional and funny.
He skips when he is excited.
He is number 13.
He is the son of Yannik Noah the French Tennis Star.
I love Jo's Hair that is always in a PEBBLES bump on his head when he plays.

Thanks for a great night of fun Zach!

What an awesome idea to have people knit a strip. That would be an interesting book project all on its own.

I think that is the most beautiful baby blanket I've ever seen. My new G-Grandson/daughter needs one!!

Nothing is more wonderful than spending an evening with a dear son. I love that so much I would even sit through a basketball game, and I hate basketball!

Wow! You can see a lot of work went into those stitches. That's a lot of chart work.

Noah was quite something when he played here in Florida (and not always a GOOD something), but always interesting. LOL

That blanket IS awesome. I see a bit of Lizard Ridge in there. That is going to be one lucky baby boy.
