Word for the Year and Work for this year

Let's turn this snow business into something light and fun: a snow man.
This is the only one in my neighborhood.
I actually chose to get my steps outside yesterday in 17 degree weather.
It is all about the wind.
There was little to no wind and the sun was a shining! I found this snowman to boot.

I'm thoroughly enjoying knitting this cowl with acrylic from Michael's.
It is so darn soft.
It is so darn simple.

My current favorite for BEST IN SHOW is
Rocket the Shih-tzu.

I know we are well into the New Year, but I finally realized my word, theme, for this year is going to be Boundaries.
This may include the Boundary Waters...
but mostly it is about healthy relationships.
Boundaries..
I have to give my Aunt credit.  She told me her best advice is to establish the boundaries you are entitled to and comfortable with...
and work on maintaining those boundaries.

Enough said!  Happy Boundaries!

Your crochet projects are looking so soft and nubbly and warm! I hope the boundary thing works for you! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Love the cowl and wow does it look soft! I like soft things around my neck and it's so hard to find scarves and cowls that don't scratch.

I am a very arms-length person when I don't know someone but a huggy-huggy person after I meet them. I don't know what that says about boundaries.

The acrylic looks super soft! I can't believe how much snow you all have and how cold it is. I was running around the city in skirts and sun dresses this weekend.

As for boundaries. I'm all for it. I'm super supportive of this. Find your way lady and they'll find theirs.

17! That is COLD! Good for getting out in it, you brave woman. I've never been to the Boundary waters but hear they are great; ages ago we sent lots of teenage campers on canoe trips there from our GS camp. Love your cowls! Stay warm!

Great advice from your Aunt: she is a wise woman!

Love the cowl.

The last two storms dropped perfect snow for making a snowman, but after shoveling, I didn't have any energy in reserve. :o(

It is all about the wind. Everyone keeps saying it's so cold out but I find it perfect-as long as the wind isn't blowing.
Love the cowl and I agree with your word of the year. I am exercising mine right now. Today (our first real snow day) was for me. Don't cross the line.

I have to agree with your goal. That's something that I've been facing as well. My work and home life have bled over. I have set a boundary that when I leave work, that's it until I get in the next day.
