Through the Lens

Thursdays find me at the shelter early for spays and neuters.
This was the pretty albeit snowy scene this morning, across the street from the shelter.
I am still having blast with the fish eye lens.
One of the volunteers at the shelter is a professional
portrait photographer. She wanted practice with cats.  Her clients are usually dogs.
Beatles obliged.

Truth be told, alright, I'll tell the truth..
he cried all the way there in the crate.
Once he got out of the crate he was an angel.

He let us shoot him for about half an  hour.
I kept telling Nadine, the photographer, that cats are not this easy.
I'll have more to show you soon.
I can't wait to see the ones she took of just Beatles.

We drove home in some serious snow.

Today's knit plan:
Trap trap traptasktic time!

That is an adorable photo of you and Beatles.

I can tell you for sure that Shelby would not have tolerated ANY of that holding stuff. She likes to sit WITH someone, not ON someone.

She is like Edward Scissorhands when you pick her up.

Great picture of Beatles. None of our cats would have stayed still long enough for photographing! Enjoy your day trap-ping and will look forward to picture.

Great picture of you and Beatles! I am impressed with Beatles' patience. He must have a little bit of celebrity in his personality. I'm looking forward to more photos. This photographer seems to know what she's doing!

A great portrait of both you and Beatles!

It's dreary here today. It snowed yesterday and is threatening to do so again.

Our cats hate riding in the car also. Your Beatles though is one patient kitty. Ours are not, and even Mocha who has no claws in front (not by us) can be lethal with her hind feet!

You are so beautiful and Beatles is adorable!! I can't wait to see more of the photos. I used to take our son's cat to the vet for him and he did the same thing--cry all the way in the crate. When I got to the vet with him he was everyone's best buddy. Maybe it's a cat thing.

Go Trap!!! Rah Traptastic!!!

What an awesome photo of you and Beatles!! I'm glad you two were safe in all that snow. But you are right, Beatles being so cooperative for so long for cat photos? Yeah, that's false advertising. hehe.

how sweet to have that photographer do something so wonderful! Love that cat and my cat when I owned one way back when was not happy inside or once released outside a crate. He held a long grudge.
