Groundhog day

My favorite bill Murray movie is Groundhog Day.  I will watch it today or tomorrow!
If you have never seen it, I wish you would watch it.  Phil 's transformation from a self serving weather news caster to a sweetheart of a human being is a real treat.  Much like my knitting, we do the same thing over and over until we get it right .

I will be car knitting for a bit today.  My sock rerun is already back to the heel turn thanks to Super Bowl knitting yesterday.

We have a foot of new snow in Chicago.  Schools closed again.  I think we will snowshoe later in the week.

I like to close with a question......

I'm trying to get it right in the healthy eating department and now that I am retired it is easier.

Are you trying to get something right that you seem to try time and time again?

We got hammered with snow last night, so it's another work from home day for me!

No new snow here, thankfully.

I am constantly trying to perfect things and usually end up getting frustrated.

O'Hare said something like 19.3 inches yesterday.
We went no where yesterday. Thank goodness it was on a weekend.
My husband is at work and it is very quiet there because a lot of people are working from home. He is fortunate to live just about 6 miles from work.

The snow storms hitting your area and the east coast have been brutal. If you have to be inside...at least you have your knitting!! Snow may hit us again tomorrow night, but it's not supposed to be more than a couple inches.

I started reading the book VB6 (Vegan Before 6) and I have to say, it makes a LOT of sense to me. A friend told me she is doing it, and she feels SO much better.

Hi Kathy! Yes, Groundhog Day!!!! <3
We got no snow, but it did snow a little bit today!
I'm trying to go to bed earlier, but it looks like I didn't succeed tonight...

I wish more of that snow would have hit Madison. We only got about 7 inches, which is definitely not a reason to close school!

Love Groundhog Day! I struggle with healthy eating too. It's getting easier, but my head can still be turned by a nice bacon cheeseburger!🍔🍟🍦

That sure is a lot of snow! We're having a false sping with sunshine and warm weather and daffodils coming up and snowdrops in bloom! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

I watched Groundhog Day tonight. I love it too.
I can manage the healthy eating thing all day but as soon as the sun goes down I want something bad. I just returned from a four day junk eating marathon at Daughter's so starting tomorrow I'm getting back on track. First I have to purge all the crap I brought back with me... :(

You must share how the pottery party goes!! I did some throwing many years ago, and it was fun. However, it takes practice to get the kind of control I wanted. Have a great time!!

I am also attempting to eat in a healthier way and lose some more weight at the same time. I am drinking a smoothie for lunches using my own juice from the juicer and fresh fruit. It is helping in ways I did not think possible AND I am not hungry during the afternoons.

Your snow looks so beautiful to me. We are having wacky weather--cold one day, 70s the next. That's Texas for you.

I love that movie. A snow day sounds like fun. I am constantly trying to make everything right, it is a sickness of mine.
Hugs,

I always try to learn to adjust my attitude. That's a constant work in progress. Eating right is also something I have never perfected, but I won't give up.
