BEST in SHOW!!!

I love to watch Westminster.

I look forward to it all year.
I know it is "fixed" and I know we have to promote mixed breeds and shelter dogs....
but I love this show.

I always root for the Golden Retrievers
and the
shelties
and the Gordons
 and the miniature schnauzers
and the
Malteses
and the
Otter hounds.

Some of these breeds I would never consider living along side...but I love to watch them at the SHOW.

I'm getting my knitting in order for Westminster tonight.
I am losing interest in my tiny needle projects.

I have such a short attention span.
Socks and Trap can wait.
I need that new yarn high....

Who will you root for to be BEST IN SHOW?

I'm also glad you reminded me the Show is tonight! We always enjoy watching it and wishing a Newfoundland would win again. Our last dog was a male "Newfie", and what a sweetheart of a dog. He weighed 165 pounds and was so docile and great around the grandkids!

I've never watched the Show, so I can't begin to even know what transpires.

More and more frequently, I find that I need to knit with a variety of needle sizes.

I love Westminster but never get to watch it. Macy objects to other dogs on her TV so I can't even watch the Dog Whisperer. She is a little tyrant! Anyway, I do love to see the Retrievers. They are so grand and heroic looking!

I usually get to see the highlights of the show somewhere along the way. I don't know how in the world they can pick ONE winner. It's a treat to see such fine breeds.

It is nice to change up the needle sizes on occasion.
Dave's grandmother recently got a Sheltie - she is the sweetest little thing. And too darn smart!

Now that's a tough question because I've never watched that show. What do you have your knitting displayed on? It looks very intriguing! Stay warm, Kathy!

please don't tell me it's fixed!!! gotta root for the cockers....they had their hay-day during Lady and the Tramp, so I know they won't win, but I still root for them!! (Freddy would be really sad if I rooted for anyone else!!!)

I have to root for the Yorkies and all the herding breeds.
I have a short attention span too. That's why I end up with a million projects all going at the same time.

I'm rooting for the cats. What? There aren't any? Then I guess I'll go for the mutts.

I chuckled to see you back with a Trap!

you know I would vote for a miniature schnauzer because I own one :)

Pug, definitely, but then I'm partial to them at the moment. Josie LOVES watching Westminster - the only thing onTV we've ever seen her pay attention to.

I like to watch all the fancy breeds with the big hair-dos, like poodles, Afghan hounds, Pomeranian, Yorkies, and anything that has some awesome hair.
