Day 6 , 2015 an Ordinary Lovely Day

Can you see all the sock yarns in my finished cowl?
I wanted to show you another image of it because, while Beatles is an exceptional model, you can see the patterns much better this way.

I gave it a good washing and left it out on the radiator to dry.
Given that it is freezing, literally, outside, the cowl was dry in about an hour on that smoking radiator.
I'm trying out a pinterest idea.  You are supposed to be able to smell the coffee beans when the candles heat them up.
So far, it is just pretty, not effective.
Because I love whimsy, I'll leave you with this MSN image.
IT is some new form of working out.
I'd call it the Bat stretch.
I bet it would make the small of your back feel good.
I'm not about to try it.
I'll keep walking thanks.....

Yes, walking is enough of a challenge some days :)

I do not think I will be doing that form of exercise anytime soon--doesn't do well with fibromyalgia or a few other things.
Cute cowl.

Yes, I do see all the sock yarns, and I love it. I really should start a project with my leftover sock yarn. You are inspiring me to get a plan.

Now that exercise looks like fun.

I hurt just watching these bat girls! I have been working on a scarf made of leftover sock yarns plus some mini skeins I had. I'm down to the nearly done phase, and will be posting it one of thesse days. Right now I have to get this baby blanket finished. Let us know how the candles in the coffee beans aroma comes out.

That looks dangerous to me! Maybe when I decide to join Cirque du Soleil--I get so bored with accounting some days. Heehee. I was hoping the thing with the coffee beans would work because I like to smell them even if I don't drink the stuff.

You are super knitter!! I love the cowl and all the blue shades and patterns. A beautiful cowl for a beautiful lady.

I am knitting a similar cowl out of sock yarn. Just curious, what is the total length of your cowl before grafting?

I, too, will skip the batwing move or any move that has me suspended. I like my feet on the ground, thank you!
That's a lot of sock yarn!
The candles are pretty - too bad the smell isnt what you hoped
Umm.... no - just no... on the stretching.

What a great eye for color you have: the scarf is so pretty.

There's a place here that does trapeze workouts --- maybe that's what this is. With parachutes added.

Walking is all you need. Love your progress on the Lady Kina, I better get my butt moving on it. Hugs to you, Meredith

I never did smell the aroma. Perhaps I need bigger candles....to warm the beans...

Haha! Bat Stretch. Yeah, I'll pass, thanks for the giggle though! You're doing SO good with your walking. Lots of Kudos. I love how you mixed the blues for your cowl!

Whoa....that bat thing is scary looking.
The cowl is brilliant. Now I want one. I have a giant bag of sock yarn too.

love the sock scarf and yes, I do see the many many skeins involved. I will stick to my land yoga and my daily walk as well.
