2015 the Year of the Sheep!

 Happy New Year!
I wish all my pretend friends the best year of your life!
2015 is the year of the SHEEP.

2015 Goals:

*Knit a bulky cat bed
I want to knit a snood...in a super soft acrylic....

I want to SEE an owl in my neighborhood!

Fireman heard one the other night.
Shhhh, he said, "listen"
When he heard it,  the t.v was blaring, the scanner was
squawking, and planes were over head as we were in the Ohare path that night.

We shut out the noise and opened the window a crack.
I froze my arse off and heard nothing....
nada...
dang.

Some other goals:

*Giving up beef and pork.

*Learn how to correct garter drop mistakes.

*Accessorize: I have so many earrings I never wear.
I got my hair cut this week, and you can see earrings now!

Simple attainable goals.

2015, Year of the attainable goalsl!

Good goals, Kathy, because they should be very doable! Hope you see that owl. I, too, have quite a collection of earrings; I try to wear more than just my favorites...I like it when I do.

Those do look like doable goals. I love that cowl! I also need to weed out my earrings. I own a ridiculous number of them.

Hi Kathy!

When I first read your header, I misread it as: 2015 the year of SLEEP!!! :))))
Yeah, I thought to myself, that sounds like a great idea! (It might help to understand if I mention that I just got up again, it's gone midnight and I'm suffering from insomnia!)
I'm sure for anybody else they might rather spend more time awake in 2015 and have lots of fun!

Anyway, I like your cat bed picture, seems like a cool idea! I always admired these igloo type cat beds crocheted with T-shirt yarn or made with felted wool.

Congrats on the hair cut, but does this mean you will now freeze your ears off in the cold weather???
This would indeed call for a nice snood!!!

I hope you get to hear that owl!! ;)

Happy New Year! The year of the sheep should be a great one for knitters,eh? Good idea on the ear rings; I've been feeling guilty about not wearing mine also. Gotta weed mine out, too.

Look for Lion Brand Heartland yarn. It's my new favorite acrylic, Wonderful tweedy colors. I'm doing a hat for my wool-allergic niece and really enjoying it! Happy 2015!

Happy New Year!
We used to have an owl around here too but I haven't heard it in ages. I think it's because we have two giant bald eagles now-which scare the stuffing out of me. I'd be more than happy if they went somewhere else to live. And to think I used to be scared of the little ole owl...

I think you can attain them all. Love the owl, I hear them frequently here in the evening. Sometimes one flies right up in the trees behind my house. As for the garter stitch mistakes, you have to turn your work back and forth each row to pull the stitch up correctly if you drop it. It seems fiddly but it works. My goal is to be a nicer person and well count my blessings everyday.
Hugs,
Meredith

Beef and pork?! Yikes. Good luck with that. Otherwise, I think your goals are wonderful. I'm still climbing out of my funk and hoping this is going to be a good year.

Great ideas for projects - I think you have realistic goals.
Great goals! Apparently our area has been invaded by snowy owls - it's been all over the news, but I haven't seen any yet.
