Wrap and Wrap and more Wrap

 I'm knitting myself a Reader's wrap.
I'm using Loops & Threads Charisma acrylic yarn.
It is very soft.
My own pattern.
I will be knitting two deep pockets on each end.
Pockets are new to me so I'll let you know how that goes!

Ingrid and I did a little Christmas card swap. She lives in Belgium.
Ingrid sent me this lovely knit star for my tree.
I will get another picture of it today, with a flash.
Isn't this adorable wrap?
I love it.  I wish I could find kitten wrap too.
Do you wrap with foil? With Paper?
Don't you love a bag for wrap?  I do!

Time to turn on some carols.
I'm planning to watch the Nutcracker tonight!

(and a new post is up at threebagsfullcorner.blogspot.com)

A Christmas card swap is a lovely idea. I like to use plain paper or actual fabric/cloths for wrapping. And I recycle every bag and bow that comes my way. :) Best wishes, Tammy

Love the pup wrap and the pocket wrap. I would be using that wrap for more than just reading! I always need a pocket.

I'm a bag person and I just came from the kitchen, where I can spread out on the island and bag, bag, bag. It's so tiring that I had to sit down and check the blogs while I rest. At least I use pretty bags and tie big, pretty bows on each gift. Still, it's the lazy way to wrap!

The pocket is easy - just pick up stitches on the front of the wrap and knit away. There's no guessing then where to place it, and you only have to seam the sides. ;o)
