Two Strikes and I'm Not Out Yet

So....I'm here to report that I frogged my double scarf.
No shame.
No regrets.
Boss of my knitting and all that.
Just cannot seem to get into a good project groove.
Have you heard of the Grinchalong?
You only knit what makes you happy until the Holidays are over.

Love the Zara in pinks and maroon but I'm making mistakes and I cannot have it!
So the combo stays, the project may not.
This is Westley being Christmassy
Zach took some shots of the baby kittens yesterday.
They go back Sunday.
They are ready to bust out of the room !
The time comes, and you know they are ready.

I will find another project and stick with it....
I'm not going to rush to the needles.
:)
Wish me luck.

I can't keep knitting if I see a mistake I've made either. Beautiful Westley!

Some projects just need to be frogged. Life is too short to knit without happiness.

Praying the kittens are adopted quickly.

Knitting must be what it will be says the Zen master. LOL I totally believe in the Grinch along. Tonight I will finish up the orange socks and then it is a totally CRAZEEEEEEE pair for ME!

Yarn's gotta be what yarn's gotta be. No getting around it. Accept that there is a higher knitting power that we are not meant to understand. I always come face to face with this reality whenever I have to measure a project. There is always something mysterious going on there.

Sorry you had to frog...but it always makes us happier when we do. I like the pink and maroon combo a lot. Nice. And finally...the photo of Wesley is adorable.

I do wish you luck because I am having something of the same problem. I can't stick to a project right now. There is so much going on during the Holidays that knitting sort of takes a back seat and the current project is hit and miss. It breeds comtempt! I have frogged a couple of things and can't get started on a third. If you find a solution please let me know.

I'm kinda sad to see the kittens go back, but I know there will be a great home for them soon.
