Ho Ho Ho

Santa came to the shelter yesterday. I thanked him for finding the perfect FOREVER home for the kittens.
We handed them over to Jane and John at noon yesterday.
I am so thrilled with the match, that I am not one bit sad.
Lynn, Santa knows how very good you are to have found them their home.  I can't thank you enough.
Someone named Sylvia at the yarn shop showed me her Stephen West hat. Isn't it great.??? I associate his designs with shawls but this hat is very sharp....
These wintry children will never be knitted up by me, but I  can enjoy them.
I think each one is whimsical.
Today is devoted to painting Al's bedroom. The kittens are gone and the room is sorely in need of a new look.
I best quit typing and go help!
I'm pretty much just support staff
-go to the hardware store
-find (x) in the basement
-make the painter a snack
etc etc etc
I have the best part of that deal!

Glad you found a "forever" home for the kittens. Support that painter otherwise you might be doing the painting. :)

That Santa does good work! Sounds like you're working, too? I'm trying to catch up after our modem died; amazing how fast the posts accumulate!

Glad the babies found a new home just in time for the holidays. Will you get more?

Santa & Lynn did a fabulous job of finding he perfect home for the boys!

I'd hang on to that painter if I were you: I've struggled to find someone to paint rooms.

The hat is definitely intriguing, but probably not something I would knit.

I agree, you got lucky on the painting deal! The knitted children are so cute but not the kind of thing I enjoy knitting. I wish I did enjoy things like that because they make wonderful gifts.

So happy to hear that the kitties will have a new home for Christmas. Santa came early for that happy couple!

Being support staff is work! I'm impressed! I think that Hat pattern is definitely sharp. Very nice paired with that yarn! I don't know about knit children, but I'm obsessing to knit some gnomes I saw online ...
So glad to hear the kitties have a home!

Those knitted people are the best. Good for the kittens, a happy home right before Christmas.

Hooray for happy homes for kittens, and three cheers for you for fostering! Love the hat. I'm on a hat search; I ran in my new hat tonight in freezing weather and was very happy. My arms got cold (shoulda' gone with a jacket, not a vest), but my head didn't.

Yay for the kitty placement! I love being "support staff" as I don't like to paint. I really like that Stephen West hat also, but I already have lots of men's hat patterns - just need to get some other things "off the needles" first.

Okay, I'm so happy for the kitties, but I will miss seeing their shanagins on the blog.
