Brrrrr It is Winter..Time to Knit Warm Woolens

This is so wrong of me.  I found this drawing on Etsy and can't find the artist.  I'll look again later.
She got it so right!  Didnt she?

Even the squirrels need a warm woolen hat and mittens today in Chicago.  It's here. Winter is here.

After seeing INTO THE WOODS with Al, and Loving the movie, I had to find my Tracey Ullman Knitting Book.

She was so very good in the movie.
Her knit book has some wonderful patterns in it.
I had to post her funny rules: especially about the knitting on a plane.

This is what's new here:

*eating whipped peanut butter...has less fat

*swearing off Beef and Pork again

*Inspired by other bloggers to finish an unfinished by New Years....so its my sock yarn cowl . ...
need to put the two ends together...

And YOU?

The drawing is so cute, so perfect for a knitter! Tracey's rules are great! As for knitting projects, I still have one scarf half finished, and I started another one. Why not finish the scarf that's on the needles, waiting ??? I don't know. In addition, I need something that's easier to knit while chatting or watching TV, so I've got to start another project...but three is my limit. Or else nothing will get finished1

My goodness: That picture is so cute.
I really should try to finish something by the end of the year. At the rate I'm going, I'll be lucky to finish a UFO by the end of 2015!

Cute picture, and funny rules from Tracy. Whipped peanut butter? I'll have to look for that. I loooove peanut butter! Not sure what I'll swear off of in January. Good luck with your stuff.

Love the squirrel painting, and the rules, too! I want to try whipped peanut butter. I have a dishcloth to finish before the new year and then I want to make my two year project so far of a merino blanket bigger...still have 175? rows till the next color switch. Mercy......... xx

I"m with you on the Ullman book. I'm always thrilled to discover that people I really like knit.

Like, say, YOU.

I'm so glad to see that picture because I truly believe that our tree's squirrel has his morning coffee in a cute little carafe.

I can do without beef (even though this is Texas) but I love pork. I never eat peanut butter in any form! No allergy--just hate it!

Must get Tracy Ullman's book.

Love your fuzzy squirrel!! No, I'm not going to finish anything by the New Year!! Now I've said it, so I won't stress over it the next day or so!! I got a gift card to an LYS from my daughter, and hubby also told me to go yarn shopping for Christmas and our anniversary today........so I'm all stocked up with new yarn. Now I'll see whether I start something new with the yarn, or pick up a UFO and work on it????

I had my big ta-da moment so right now I'm taking it easy. I admit that I am looking for all the projects I stashed out of sight for the holidays. There should be something in there that catches my fancy but it won't be done in the near future I'm afraid. I'm going back to my slow pace. There may even be some (gasp) frogging.
Love that squirrel. We are still waiting for cold here but I've heard it's on the way. I would like to see a snowflake or two before spring.

Finish an unfinished. Gah. I don't know about that, but one more day isn't going to make a huge difference on Visionvet's infinity scarf, so I'll try to finish my scarf before I cast on for hers.

My UFOs will not be finished by New Year's, but I am knitting a cowl and a pair of socks.

I hope to finish two quilts that I have in the works and get my sewing room tidied.

I only eat chicken and seafood :) I've tried the vegetarian route and manage for six weeks but then I let a bit of chicken in once again. Love the print!!
