20 Days Until Christmas Cookies

  1. I'm still holding out on the cookies in the freezer.  
  2. Does this mean I'm in the home stretch?
  3. Yesterday I knit with friends and it was a good thing.
  4. Today I'll watch Peter Pan ; I love musicals
  5. Fingerless are in the homestretch too and who ever left the comment on Liberty wool being soft...you are so right! 
  6. 3 more days and the kittens go back; fingers crossed they get chosen and adopted out to someone wonderful.
  7. Have to give up control....over many things including kitten placement!
  8. I love to see fellow bloggers Winter decorations. Keep them coming.
  9. I didnt shop on Cyber monday....

Yes, indeed, the cookies will be safe until Christmas. ;o)

I did not partake in Black Friday, Small Saturday or Cyber Monday, but I did knit.

I'm so impressed by your resolve! I make no promises where the Christmas cookies are concerned. In fact, I am making a big batch to take to the Fire Station fireworks on Saturday night. Our daughter is bringing the hot chocolate for everyone and I am in charge of making sure the cookies are still warm. I believe Christmas calories don't count.

I'm hoping for the best home possible for the kitties. They are both so cute.

I did shop on Black Friday --- but it was a skein of yarn from an art gallery. I certainly wasn't going anywhere NEAR the mall.

Oh now I am worried about the kittens and I have never even met them. I did shop on cyber Monday, but had no idea it was actually cyber Monday.

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
