Kittens and Elephants

My job is to get these boys beefed up.
They have little sneezes, kitty colds.
No nasty colored stuff, just clear but cats do not eat well when their respiratory/nose olfactory systems are messed up.

Humperdink is an amazing smuggler.  He purrs and rubs his face all over you.  Westley is the hunter.   They make me laugh.
Someones' going to have two great kittens.
Kathy S's daughter knit this elephant.
She was proudly showing it at 3 Bags the other day.
Pretty darn cute.
I'm three skeins into my circle wrap.
I'm sticking with this one.
Do you know I don't like to purl?
Well, I don't.
So I only did the garter in the round for the first dozen rows.
I'll to the garter in the round for the last dozen rows too.
In the meantime its all knit in the round!

Finally, I dislike going to the Michaels store so very much that I placed my order on the phone today.
It's worth the 6  bucks to have it delivered here.
And you know how cheap I am!

I ordered the so so so soft yarn that my nurse pal used for my gift shawl.  It is called Wool-like loops and threads.
They did not have many colors in stock.
I'm going to knit some baby blankets soon.
This acrylic is amazingly soft.
It is the most wonderful acrylic I've found.

Sweet little Dink is so cute. I love his yellow eyes! I don't know how you let them go when the time comes.

I'm looking forward to seeing your round shawl finished. I don't like to purl either, but I steel myself to it when I must and power my way through it. After, I reward myself with a garter knit project.

Another extremely soft acrylic yarn is Love That Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I use a lot of it for baby things. Lots of colors too!

I'm a knitting newbie. All I know how to do is cast on and do the basic knit stitch so your shawl looks terribly complicated, but very beautiful to me.
Your kittens are very sweet.
There's a whole lot of cuteness on your blog today!

Kitties that snuggle are THE best!

Those kittens are amazing. We've picked up a saying in our house from a cartoon, "Awww, you sneeze like a kit - ten."

I love when you score a good new yarn. I like soft acrylic for baby projects too, especially for families that don't really get the whole knitting or wool care thing, but appreciate the gift.

I want to know what made you snap with the local Michael's!

The elephant is a masterpiece!

I've gotten some of that Michael's yarn before --- it is quite nice.

Good luck with the colds.

Love the elephant and cute, cuddly kitties.

I am not knitting fast enough on the baby blanket in progress.

There is nothing better than a snuggly kitten. Hope your boys find a happy forever home together.

What a sweet elephant. Too cute.

That elephant is amazing. Knitting critters is too fiddly for me so I always admire those who manage it.
Those are some sweet kitties you have there, sniffles and all.
That elephant is really cute. Hope the kitties get to feeling better soon. Have a good weekend. Tammy

Love the elephant. I have a baby balnket in my future, my nephew and his wife are expecting. I am not a fan of Micheal's although our store is rather nice. Good luck with the knitting and the kittens.
Hugs,
Meredith

Ginger and Mocha send get well wishes to the kitty duo. Thanks for the close up of the elephant. I saw it on the shop blog, but this photo's much better. It's very cute! Sounds like I need a trip to Michaels. I usually go to Joanne's.

I adore those kitties. It's so nice of you to be their foster. They are going to make some great family cats for their forever homes. And that elephant is too cute for words.
