St. Francis, Muddy Waters and the Chicago Fire....

Miss Pie did not like wearing the sweater I knit for Beatles.
She's been WACKO since the cold weather hit.
She has been running the porch and tussling with her brother all day.   Radar, our dear cat, used to have trouble with the transition too.  He loved the porch as Pie does.
The colors they are a changing....(sing to Bob Dylan).
We spent some time looking for our friends' lost cat in the park yesterday.   (Sunset Woods in Highland park.)  Their condo backs up to it and Bubs,  got out Friday when they were taking in their mail.
He was sighted yesterday by a jogger so we were hopeful. Prayers to St. Francis are much appreciated!
Zach loves Muddy Waters.  He and his girlfriend Izzy have silk-screened some tee's together.  Zach draws, Izzy screens.

So there was this big build up for a Chicago Fire Reenactment on the River Saturday night.
Sadly, the producers had many problems.
There were tweets from the crowd chanting,
WE WANT FIRE.
It was a great idea, but a huge flop.
Oh I hope the planners take heart and succeed next time.

I'm feeling better, finally!
The damage: I frogged the whole Road to China Cowl.
I met Lynette, the owner of Three Bags, co incidentally at the movies Saturday night.
(This is How I Leave You - it was funny!)
Lynette was knitting a complicated sweater during the movie.
I told her I was frustrated knitting straight garter!
She said sometimes the easy patterns trip you up the most .

So who can guess what I cast on anew with the Road to China yarn?

I'll pick a winner from the correct guesses.
There is a prize. :)

Finding a lost pet is difficult because they are often scared and confused. I hope your friends find their kitty soon.

I love Pie's sweater. So cute. And Zach and Izzy's t-shirt is amazing. Such artistic talent!

My guess on the Road to China yarn is Trap, Trap, Trap.

Praying for a safe trip home for the lost kitty.

I will pray for the lost cat to be found. I'm hoping that as I type this he/she is safely home.

Glad at least the fire flop was not a real fire. I think of you and your husband when I watch Chicago Fire and hope it was not that dramatic for your husband.

I am not guessing.....

Trappety Trap?!?

I hope the kitty finds it's way home soon.

I think the photo you captured of kitty in sweater, really captures the sentiment, ha!

I like that Zach and Izzy are able to join their super powers for good. Awesome work.

Glad you are feeling better.

Miss Pie might not LIKE the sweater, but she sure does look adorable in it. LOL

I am so impressed that you got a sweater on Pie. Both of our felines would have done major damage to the dresser! I never saw your Road to China yarn, but I know how you love that Trap pattern; could that possibly be it? Our son is in China as I am typing this; hope he stays safe!
Pie looks so cute in her sweater!

Daughter just sent me a picture of her kitty in her new sweater. She also is not handling the cold or the new sweater well.
Fingers crossed for lost kitty. That is a terrible thing.
I was also going to guess Trap for the yarn but lots of people beat me to it. I'm impressed with how many people really pay attention to what you blog and would know that!
