Sitting on the Radiator....

My pumpkin is safely on the screened porch -
I'm too cheap to put it out and have to buy another due to squirrels snacks.
We all know there's been a Canadian blah blah that means snowflakes and frost early here.
I thought I was just cold..
I've been sleeping with a hot water bottle for a week.
Turns out Miss Nurse smarty pants, has a kidney infection.
I'm getting better.
So it wasn't the blood donation or the hike that wore me out.
To my credit, newborns and premies don't routinely get kidney infections...and that's my narrow area of expertise.
Fireman has been a great help this week.
I'll have to give my nurse er fireman, a box of candy.
He can have this one.
My friend Helen brought me a box from Ireland.

In my chills, fever, icky everything state this week,
all I did was make garter mistakes on my cowl.
I have no excuses or explanations.

So I stopped and returned to my Triangle Pose modular knit.
Here it is on the warm radiator.

So : Keep your Pumpkins safe
Don't ignore chills/fever
and
Have a great weekend.

So sorry to hear you are ill. Hope you are feeling much better soon! It's good to know what is causing the sickish blahs.

I love the colors of the shawl. It appears to be warming up on the radiator so it will keep you warm and toasty during the cold months ahead. We are cooler here today. I guess that's about all we can expect from Texas.

Ugh! That just sounds horrible, no wonder you have been feeling craptastic. Hope you are healing up and feeling great by now.
Hugs,

Glad you're on the mend. Infections are no fun. But...gives you good knitting time and gives fireman a chance to wait on you!!

Hope you feel better! I get UTI's a lot because I have a messed up urethra, and I'm proud to say they've only turned into a kidney infection once. But that was enough :( Hope you're drinking lots of water!

So sorry, Kathy, to hear you've been feeling crummy but glad you're now on the mend. Love your triangle shawl, its colors especially. I heard from my sister about the snow threat. Yikes, it's just early October! Take care and big hugs from Seattle!

Take your medication, drink lots of water, and rest so you can feel better soon.

Love the shawl!

Poor you....and boo to this early cold and boo to kidney infections. I do like your fancy pumpkin though. I didn't grow any this year and I'm too cheap to buy one so I will have to make due with admiring from afar...

There are viruses all over. I'm spending the weekend in bed, which is rare for me. But I can't ignore this flu into going away (I tried).

Hope you feel better soon.
