Monday Musings...

 Socks socks socks,
Seems like we are all knitting socks, right?
This is Stonehedge Fiber DK from Michigan, in Crazy.
Purchased in Virginia.
Landed in Chicago.
These socks will not match but they will be sister socks...
If I was not officially a crazy cat lady before, I am now.
We have a cat tree.
Fireman has been vehemently opposed to this object in the house.
So while he was at a SPIN class for teachers conference yesterday, I snuck out to Homegoods and Bought one.
Pie and Beatles were overjoyed about it as measured by:
Scratching the carpet and Climbing the tree.
Pie fell a few times coming down...but she's starting to memorize it.
The as measured by thing is nursing school jargon...
I'll leave you with the view from my yard:
Sugar Maples, roses and Joe Pye weed in bloom.
Colors are almost peak here....

you might be a cat lady but your cat is quite the happy cat with a view like that! Your autumn is beautiful :)

I'm knitting socks after a loooong dry spell. It feels good to have the needles in my hands again.

Love the view down your street - gorgeous colors.

Are you alternating two colors on that sock, or are my eyes deceiving me? Autumn in the Midwest is pretty; here it's being pretty rainy. Glad your cats like the tree! What is it about cats liking high places? One of ours used to head for the space above the kitchen cupboards! Ours here aren't like that.

Judy, the yarn does that. Im not alternating. I think I'm frogging the sock....just in a frog mood!

Daughter has a cat tree that her kitties love. My kitties are not the climbing kind. They are the hiding kind so we have lots of tunnels for them to climb through.
We've finally got some color here too. We were going to go out to the mountains tomorrow to take a look but it's going to rain.

How could Fireman not like the cat tree? I am not knitting socks, actually I am not knitting at all. I had better get moving.
Hugs,
Meredith

That yard pic is awesome. I love the yarn on your socks lady. I like your style going out to get the cat tree whilst The Fireman is away. hehe.

Love the fenceline flowers too.

I love Pie's ability to adapt to anything. That makes the kitty super-special.
