Not Ready YET!

My hooded scarf is coming along.
Life is better by the campfire, and we had one on Saturday night here.  Brrrrr, it was freezing.
I am not ready, not ready, not ready, not anywhere near ready for that Novemberish weather.

I did not bring the corn kernel candy into this house.
Someone else did.  Have you read any of the Happiness Factor book?   I'm all or nothing.  Some people are moderators.
If I eat one of the kernels I'll eat them all.
I'm not ready to eat them all….
I'll wait until just a few are left.
Came across this baby sweater pattern yesterday in the mail.
I love it.
I'm adding it to my someday plans.
I'm not ready to knit another baby sweater.

I'm also not ready to walk my 10,000 steps but out I go

What are you not ready for?

I'm not ready to go back to work (I'm a college professor and had the summer off--back to school for us in a week and a half).

What a darling baby sweater! Can't wait to see it come out of the someday plans and be knit up :)

Oooh, the baby sweater pattern's construction looks interesting!

I'm not ready for cooler temps, as we had a very long winter and an extremely short Spring and summer. Sigh!

The hooded scarf ... what a pretty start. Love the cables. The baby sweater is darling, and the pattern looks intriguing.

Winter... stay away... I'm not ready either!

I'm not ready for cold weather either. I got out the sweaters for a wash yesterday and I actually have wool socks on right now. Where did the summer go?

I am definitely not ready for candy corn time. I have stopped drinking Coke and coffee and am trying hard to cut down the sugar intake to zip. I've done well for three days but I sense some temptation today. I will not eat candy corn--I will not eat candy corn!! I guess I'm not a moderation kind of person.

I am not ready for anything it seems. Seriously, I'm happy there are some clean under garments in the dresser if you know what I'm saying. I need to get my butt in gear for some school volunteering and girls get away planning. I am glad to be healthier, but my brain is still ... flakier, ha!

Darn you and your picture of the candy corn. I remembered I hoarded some Autumn Mix candy in my file cabinet. It's opened now. My cubemates had a good chuckle listening to the rustling of the plastic wrap.

I went camping for the first time last weekend, and I was so happy when I went to pull on my sweater (which I had been wearing by the fire) and it smelled like campfire! What a good smell. :)

I am definitely an "eat it all" kinda girl. If I don't get started I'm okay, but once that bag is open, all is fair game.

The scarf looks good so far.

I'm not ready for my son to move away from Florida. He has an opportunity that is just too good to pass up IF it works out. I'm so happy for him to be moving up in his company, but I'm not ready for him to be far away.

Hi! Your campfire hooded scarf is looking lovely, what a nice wool! :)
I'm not ready for Autumn, though it seemed that it had already started, but now we are back to very warm/hot weather! Yesterday it was at least 27 degrees! It was absolutely gorgeous! Haha, I guess I could resist your candy corn (we don't have that here in Belgium as far as I know!), but I love some gummy sweets from Germany (made with real fruit juices), there are very 'morish' - as in: I will have just one more, mmm, one more, mmmm, oh, just one more!!! ;)
Enjoy your week!

I too am a all or nothing gal, can't have one cookie I eat em until I gag on the sugar. Therefore I limit what comes into the home. Love candy corn!! My goal is over 5000 a day so I know I can accomplish that. When I hit 10000 well then that is an extra special day :)

I don't like candy corn. MJ loves it.

I think I'm ready for everything except book club next Tuesday. Not lovin' Sound & the Fury. I missed the Faulkner gene, somehow.
