I am partial to the purple nestled next to the green. 


Wacky weather for most of us in the mid- section of the U.S. yesterday.  

Midway through the storms last night we lost power.
It was nearly my bedtime, and the windows were able to be opened.
I sleep on the breezy side of the bed. :)

Long story short: I
swam last week instead of getting my steps.
I now have an ear infection. 
Modern medicine has come a long way.
You can take an antibiotic twice a day now.
Such a convenience!

No wool to even suggest an itch.

Sorry swimming left you with an ear infection. Do you put alcohol in your ears after swimming? That always made the difference for me.

Can't wait to see your "you" Trap! I am starting a easy-peasy shawl as soon as the baby blanket is finished (this weekend I hope).

Whenever I get into a pool, I end up with an ear infection, and I don't know how to swim!

I love swimming, do you often get ear infections from swimming? The lily picture is very pretty. I like your short but sweet post. What are you going to knit with that purple yarn? Too many questions?

Beautiful lily! I tried to grow a pink one but I think something ate it.
Feel better. I've got some summer bug thing going and I feel icky. I need to be better by the 4th.

I am loving the cool front. I do not do so well in hot and humid weather which is what the Chicagoland always seems to get. I should not complain espcially since we had such a "lovely" winter.

Sorry you ended up with an ear infection.

Those storms sounded scary! Sorry about your ear and glad there was an "easy" solution. Such a pretty lily and a great color,too. Love that yarn. What's it going to be? You should be getting some hot weather from us soon..... (At least my sister blames us! LOL)

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
