Trap to the Fourth Degree

Beatles is modeling the 4th Trap.
It won't be the last Trap.

In an effort to keep you from falling asleep as you read this blog, I switched it up last night when I cast on anew.

I've cast on another mindless knit called
the Sweetie Scarf.
I paid nearly 10 dollars on line for a two row pattern, but I don't mind.

If she was clever enough to create a two row pattern for me,
I'll pay 10 bucks for it.

What's the most you have paid for a pattern?
Were you glad you did?

Do books count? If so... yeah. I have a separate closet for the knitting, crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking books. Hem.

You have the world's most patient cat! Your Traps are all pretty, but my favorite is the one with the red in it. As for patterns, I'd have to go look, but I did just pay $10 for a used quilt book, not counting the mailing.
Lovely - and Pie looks quite cozy!

Love the Trap display...very impressive!
I am a total cheapskate and I rarely pay for patterns but I did pay $6 for the Sheep Heid pattern. I do have a big pattern book collection that I never use. I was just thinking about challenging myself to only use my books for a while and stay away from Ravelry but I am pretty sure I won't be able to make that stick.

Hmm, Let me think. . .I paid $24 for a pattern book for socks. It's a great reference, but I rarely use it.

Love all the Traps. Nice job.

Probably $6.00 and I was happy with my purchase.

Of course, I have several sock books --- some were worth the price. Some...not so much. LOL

All the traps look so pretty lined up together.

I know I've paid $6 many times, and I do think it's worth it. As much as I love getting things for free, I also like the idea of creative people getting paid for their work.

Your Traps are wonderful and the colors are beautiful! I once paid close to $10 for a pattern and found a glaring error in it. I had long figured it out and finished the project when I received an amendment to the pattern from the designer. It left a bad feeling with me about paying that much for patterns in the future.

I don't think I've paid more than eight, but I can't remember. I rarely pay for patterns, if I do it is from a designer whose work I adore!! Love your shawls and I think you made up the price for the pattern :)
