A friend gave me garlic to plant last fall.
Here's my crop!
They were insanely easy to grow.
I planted them among the roses and read that helps keep beetles away.

You can smell the garlic as soon as you dig it up.
I also have chives that are going like crazy near the roses.

Apparently there is a garlic soup recipe….
have you ever???

Your garlic looks great. I have had roasted garlic buds and loved them, but never garlic soup.

Mmmm....I like garlic in just about anything. My lentil soup is really just garlic and a handful of lentils.
I was just talking to a friend about growing some garlic - I guess this is a sign that I should just do it!

That garlic looks so yummy! I love garlicky chicken, and there are a ton of recipes out there.

I've never had a "garlic soup" but I've had one with lots of garlic, so I'd be game!

You know I'm a fan of the garlic herb compound butter. You can store it in the fridge and freezer for ages. a pat of happiness whenever you need it, and good for a quick makeshift garlic bread :)

Think I'll take a pass on the garlic soup.

Love garlic in my food, but not so sure about having it as the major flavor.

How was your home-grown garlic? Strong? Mild?

The Knight tried to garden a couple of times early in our married life, but the ground here only grows rocks and roses.
