Well, That Was FUN!

Thanks to you all I have a bigger better picture of where 
YOU live.   We are all over the map - 
I live north of the city of Chicago.
It seems a very congested place when we travel to quieter locales. 
Yesterday, Fireman took me to one of the prairies he helps to tend in the winter.  
This little piece of quiet was so pretty. 
The wildflowers were blooming.  See?






I was a bit worried about poison ivy and ticks.
I think we came home alone. :)

I'm off to Spay Neuter this morning. It is puppy and kitten season. I get my pup fix this way. 

Later I'll knit more of the second Trap scarf/stole.

Yesterday I knitted with friends.  Nancy had cervical spine surgery a week ago, and needed to get out.  She ordered a chardonnay and drank it through a straw.  Gotta love determination!

Glad you had a nice trip out to the prairie. It's nice to get away from the busy-ness once in awhile.

Fireman's prairie is divine - love all that green and the flowers!

I am determined to control the chaos in my sewing room. Slowly, I am making progress.

Fireman took you to a beautiful spot. Nice. Serene. And the wildflowers are beautiful.

I've got some cleaning and sorting to do...but I keep finding ways to avoid the tasks!

Had the pup spayed yesterday so I'm determined she won't lick what she shouldn't. She's determined she won't wear the cone. And I've got two more weeks of this fun...

 Is that vague enough for you?  It has been a too busy complicated Spring.  I had no energy to blog.  All is well now, so I can share some things with you:   1. I'm Making Bunny Rabbits

  These are the one square bunnies .  They are a free pattern on Rave1ry.  I'm bunny making to force spring to come.  I'm a1so taking it easy on my hands again.  The med we tried did keep my hands from shaking, but it was a med for a med. and that's crazy town.  I can contro1 a hook much better than need1es.  It wi11 have to suffice for now.  I'm enjoying your b1ogs and your Spring.  This time of year I so want to 1ive in a southern state.  But this Spring is a new one for me and I'm going to find a way to 1ove it.   IT may have just gotten to 50.   Degrees.  I have to run.  There's very ear1y yardwork to do.   The birds have 1eft a rotten mess of sunf1ower she11s under the feeders.  I hope it is not frozen!  Have you been switching things up in your neck of the woods?   I haven't forgotten you, b1og pa1s.  I 1ove seeing you on Instagram .

Do You Smile When You Knit???

I am pretty sure I smile when I knit.  I'm going to think about that today when I pick up the baby blanket in progress.  I am also pretty sure I cry when I knit; well, not really.  I have shed some tears over the years but they were way back.  I surely scowl when I drop a stitch.   A time lapse of knitters' faces would be interesting enough .... Tank, aka Helo, is starting to smile around here.  Just look into those aqua eyes......they make me smile all the time. He is half Siamese and all gorgeous.
