In Case You Missed It-

Yesterday was Cop on a Rooftop day.

Cops sit atop Dunkin Donuts rooftops  around Illinois and raise funds for Special Olympics.

I gave my ten bucks for a great cause.
I got a new coffee travel cup which I really needed.
Children with Down's Syndrome have a very special place in this nurse's heart.   They are angels on this Earth.

As for knitting, I'm still working on Trap.
Anyone have an easy trick for keeping the two skeins from tangling?  I think I saw a shoebox device once…..

Happy Summer Saturday.

What a fun fund-raiser! I hope the coffers were full at the end of the day.

Definitely workin' for a good cause.

What a sweet way to raise funds! My Dave is a music teacher and he teaches many students with special needs - quite a few have down syndrome and they just love the music.

As a special education teacher, I love that fund-raiser!

No, I have no idea of how to keep skeins from tangling.

What a great idea for a fund raiser. I've never found a way to keep yarns from tangling that worked for me. I just keep one ball on each side of me as I knit and untangle when needed. The secret is in how you turn your work but I can never remember which way to go.

I love it. Special Olympics holds a special place in my heart too.

I want to hear what your wise knitting readers say about the tangled two balls of yarn, please and thank you?

Those cops are some good guys. What a great cause.

I used to know how to keep the skeins from tangling but can't for the life of me remember.

Fun photos, Kathy. That must have been fun to see! I wonder whether my GKs happened on any of these guys? Great cause, too!
