Miniatures

Have you seen this picture?
Seems some knitters have been very busy creating a banner for this year's Tour De France.
Do you know what the colors signify?
Well, I'll tell you:

Yellow: The Overall Leader

Green: Sprinter's Jersey

White: worn by fastest rider under age 25

As far as miniatures go, I don't knit them.
Too many tiny turns for my liking.

I do eat miniatures however!
I love Hersey miniatures,
(dark chocolate please)
I love petit four cakes,
and I love
mini wiener hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls.

I also like Minnie Mouse

My first dog was a miniature schnauzer, Missy!

I wish there was a miniature Golden retriever.

Minnie Driver has a great unique look and style for an actress.

and

while the Mini Cooper is cute, I think it is too small to protect in an accident.  (because that's how I judge a car)

What Mini's bring you joy?

I love miniatures, too. I own a Mini Cooper. I like to knit miniature things: sweaters, socks, animals (especially pigs, chickens, owls, and more); I like mini chocolate chip pancakes. Well... just about everything mini is cute!

Even my Wilma is small. I think she's a mini bulldog, too.
When I was a kid, I loved anything in a mini "sample" size, mustard, shampoo, toothpaste - to me it was all "Barbie" sized, even though it was all way too big for Barbie.

I am not a big fan of mini knitting. Like you said . . . too many turns.

I may be mini in height, but I live large. I laugh big, I live life big, I drive a big car (actually a small SUV known affectionately as "The Beast", and other than socks, I tend to knit and cross stitch big projects.

As for chocolate --- make mine BIG!

I am a fan of the mini sausage in crescent rolls, the mini reece's peanut butter cups in the mixed bags of candy. we are a peanut allergy apartment, so I eat them with great big sighs at work. hehe. i like mini cupcakes and muffins and pre-schoolers, they are very mini to me, without being an actual KID or Baby. Too weird. I like to make mini foods. mini blts, mini cheese cakes and on and on!

Oh, they are so cute!! I like tiny sausages and vegetables. I also like tiny melting moments, the big ones are just wrong.

I love Mini Coopers, but we still have 2 old Mazdas. The mini-est knitting I've done is for babies, except for GD's American twin doll which promptly got lost. Too mini, I guess!

The only minis that I've knit were Christmas stockings for ornaments.

Mini Hershey bars ARE tasty. I'll let you have the dark chocolate ones.

I drive a Mini Cooper and it saved my life. I was in a huge pile up of cars one morning after a herd of deers ran across the highway. The SUV that hit me was totaled while Miss Mini escaped with just a back hatch door having to be replaced. When my daughter got to the accident scene the police told her that he couldn't believe how my itty bitty car survived when the bigger ones around me didn't. They are little but they are heavy.

Mini Milky Ways are my minis of choice. Mini sausages in BBQ sauce are fantastic but I always eat too many!

Well you know I'm going to say that my mini Schnauzer is what brings me eternal joy. He makes me smile and laugh every single day. There is a lot of personality crammed into a 14 pound dog :)

Fun post! I have knit mini sweater and sock Christmas ornaments, and they are so cute when embellished with beads, etc. Mini candy bars are irresistible! I rather like the "mini" cans of pop that are now available; they are just the right size for sweet treat.

I love miniature houses and terrariums with miniature gardens. There's lots of pictures on Pintrest.

I'm pretty sure there are mini Goldens. They're crossed with small poodles, I think? My sister and Moggie are each getting one from different breeders tomorrow. Moggie's is a mini and should top out around 20 lbs. My sister's is on the large end and will be about 2/3rds the size of her large labrador.
