Warm Fuuzies

Help I cannot knit this headband for a few days.
The air is certainly electric here in the land of dry air and scarce indoor humidity.

I bought this luscious bleached out aqua yarn at a show a few years back and frogged my original thing this weekend.  When I knit with this soft wonderful yarn it's fibers sneak up my nose and my eyelashes.  I think I need to wear a mask and goggles like a snowboarder when I pick it up again to finish.  It will make an awesome headband.
This is Cindy.  SHe was the official *Kisser* at the Valentine shelter party yesterday.
She gave kisses and raffle tickets out.
She's a quiet little girl and we all stood in line at the kissing booth.

If Purebreds are your thing, Westminster starts tonight.  Olympic watching is at a peak here at our house.  I'll be trying to watch both events and knit.

Kissing Booth - what a clever idea. Who could resist that sweet face.

Ah yes, static!

We're afraid to touch anything right now ... even the car door gives out fearsome shocks!

That is some lovely yarn.

Seeing the yarn strands stand on end for lack of humidity made me chuckle. It looks like a bad hair day.

Puppy kisses...oh they are the best. Cute idea.

Your headband looks like a wild thing. Heehee.

Love Cindy the kisser! She is so cute and sweet. How could you not take her home. I know she would kiss your kitties and get along well!! Again, heehee!

Can you believe it? We had snow over the weekend, not real snow like yours, but a few inches. That looks like fun yarn! Cute doggy, too.

We're watching Westminster!

Whoa...that's pretty awesome. I'm having the same problem with the fiber I am trying to spin but not to that extreme. Another problem is my rough hands. It's like pulling wool through sand paper.
Love that kissing booth idea with the pup. I'd pay to give it a smooch.

It really is electric :) I am currently working with so called rheuma wool (SMC Fine Wool) for a project for Piecework. It is coming along nicely, although it does not go as fast as I would love to. (2.0 mm needles) But not static at all.

What about humidity... no complaints here! Quite a lot of water this winter, rain, rain, wind and more rain. (duh) Quite an Olympics so far... the speed skaters are doing very well.
