Contest Fun For Yarn Friends

It's time for a contest to celebrate 10 years of this blog.
We'll be celebrating all year!
Special Thanks to Irisheyes Lynn who originally informed me of BLOGS -
and to Al who used to contribute once in while too.
Thanks to Lynnette at 3 Bags Full for letting me post many images of her yarn studio.
Thanks to Katherine who has posted images for the blog when my computer was down.

and Thanks to you for reading and commenting.
You teach me so very much.

If you would like to win this extra long flax neck or shoulder wrap from Enchanted Designs Etsy shop in Valentine hearts,
you must take the test below.

All test takers are included in the raffle.

I picked this prize because I need neck/shoulder care when I knit for long periods.

You must leave a comment on this post and only this post by Valentines Day to enter the contest.  You don't have to actually list answers unless you wish to amuse me.

Congrats on 10 years of blogging! I am not doing the test this time, but wanted to answer your question regarding the cotton. I think it depends... the brand of cotton is important, and this one is a soft cotton, produced in The Netherlands, with a gentle touch, and a soft feel. It flies under my hands to be honest. I am careful in my recommendations though, what works for me is not always working out for someone else... it might be best to try out for yourself (or order a finished product - that saves you knitting time)

What a great anniversary.
Congratulations.
Love the test funny.
Love stopping in at Lynette's when I can. I try but this weather and the construction on some of the streets around here do not make it easy.
Oh my you have what I wish--seams sewing themselves. That is one of the things I dread about a completed project-- all the parts are made just have to seam it-- UGH.
Enjoy ! Enjoy
Happy 10th

A big congrats. That's a huge milestone. I loved the questions and pick all of the above for all the answers.

Happy, happy 10 year of blogging. Several things come to mind from your test:
What's Kitchener? Just kidding. Of course that would be my choice!

Zach is so talented in so many areas that I would bet he can knit if he wants to.

I don't want to think about what you are holding when the vet does unspeakable things.

I would love to knit in a cabin in Wisconsin. My dream vacation.

Here's to 10 more years of Irisheyes!!

Very cute questions. I'd definitely want the seams that sew themselves! Your questions made me laugh, but I want to know where the 2nd home in coastal VA question went!

Tee Hee! I'm still laughing. Don't know about yarn shops in Boulder Junction although I have been there many years ago on a day off from GS camp. One of my favorite things to do on our travels is to visit yarn or quilt shops, and as I recall we found a really nice one in Hawaii that I think sold both. Rhinebeck does sound like fun, doesn't it? Seams sewing themselves, now that's a great idea! Happy Blogaversary!

LOL! Kathy, I don't know all the answers since I missed the first several years, but I am so glad I have found you now! Congratulations on ten years! I'm still chortling about some of the choices... e.g. holding the testicles in a sterile fashion for them to be cut off. LOL! To number 1... definitely c. blessings ~ tanna

Oh, too cute. First, congrats on 10 years of blogging!! Since I'm only in my 2nd year, I'm impressed that you have stuck to it and still enjoy it! And you write such fun posts!
OK, here are my answers to the questions: 1b, 2a, 3c, 4a, 5c, 6d, 7a, 8b. I'm ready to look for yarn on the beaches of Hawaii!!

Wow! Ten years and still going strong. I am afraid my blog is languishing... good intentions don't seem to get me to sit and construct a post. Love your quiz... and I knew several of the answers! Happy knitting! It is unusually cold here... we normally don't have enough real winter weather to spit at, but this year is the exception. I wanted to put out a contract on that rascally groundhog... how dare he predict six more weeks of this!
