Ultimate Time Saver

They look like Christmas trees don't they?
I was successful with my cookie gun this year.
I filled the gun with pre made Pillsbury
sugar cookie dough and it worked.
I cut the mess in half at least!

This leaves more time for knitting…..

I have wrapped the cookies in packing tape and
they are in the freezer.  Can I leave them alone until the 24th?

I'm going to make cranberry cookies also.
I cheat with them too.
I use a cranberry muffin mix and add
a stick of butter and an egg for the dough.

I don't have any knit progress to show.
I worked last night.
My goodness Newborns sure cry a lot.
When I wasn't busy admitting I was
picking up babies and getting them to shush and hush.
Silent Night?
Jesus must have been a very good baby….

Oh I love those little cookies - it's not Christmas without them!

Never thought about the cranberry cookie idea ... hm.

Mmmm butter cookies. Mmm sugar cookies. Mmm cookies. Must make some cookies, soon. You have got my hamster wheels turning. The Kid has a soccer tourney in the South Bay this weekend. I hear if I love him I will make the team favorite cookies.

A newborn's cry is distinctive and heart-wrenching.

Your cranberry cookie "recipe" sounds intriguing.

I love rolled sugar cookies with powdered sugar icing and sprinkles.

You make me want to get another cookie press! The old one croaked some time ago. What is there about a new baby cry and when does it change? The hymn never says how long "calm" lasted. LOL

I hope you are having sweet dreams, Kathy. Thank you for caring for the little ones. My mom always made cookie press cookies, and I have made a few myself...butter shortbread with almond flavoring, but your cranberry recipe sounds yummy, too. Thanks for sharing :) I am crocheting some little wreaths on plastic rings for ornaments to give away.

Your sugar cookies look yummy! I'm going to make cookies and more panettone as soon as I recover from the dental surgery. Isn't this a fun time of the year!!

I have seldom seen a quiet newborn. All of mine would loud criers from the beginning. It's what babies do best. You are angel nurse, giving those new little people so much love and comfort!!

Oh, the cookies look so tasty!!

It must be something special to be around newborns...even with their crying.

Yummy!
Too funny about the newborns. This time last year, we had a newborn grandbaby and I miss him being so tiny.

Oh I am so hungry for Christmas cookies. I guess I'll have to break down and make some this week. Then I'll eat them all. Oh well, that's what holidays are for, right?

They look pretty good.

What kind of cookie press do you have? Mine won't handle commercial dough. :(

Did I already tell you I'm thinking this is a fudge-only Christmas, just because something has to give and it won't be my sleep-time this year?
