Still Not Finished and Random Thoughts...

This is how pumpkin dump cake looks when baked.

This is how Pie figures out a box.

* I am NOT finished with my vest.
It is taking me a long time to finish.
Longer than I hoped.
I Must be patient.
I MUST be patient.
I have learned this over the last 12 years of knitting.
I am close but no cigar.
It will only lead to tears if I rush it.
I'd love to hand it over to someone else at this point, but that's just not going to happen.
I could never, ever be a finisher!

I could be a starter…
but then that's most of us huh?

*Thanks for all your Holiday music suggestions
Bare Naked Ladies vesrion of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is my new pop favorite thanks to you.

My new Pandora favorite is BRING A TORCH from the Wonderous Gift.
The piano version is so beautiful.

Breathe,  Breathe, breathe
and
this too shall get off the needles in due time.

Right?

Don't give up because you are so close to finishing. You'll get there, just be patient.

Every stitch gets you one step closer. Go all Zen on it. Stitch, breathe, stitch, breathe.......repeat.

Just keep knitting! I go through the same thing every time I knit a sweater. It's the last 20 rows that seem impossible and the finishing is a huge hurdle. We are pulling for you! You can do it Kathy.

I could be a starter myself. I am trying to finish a crochet shawl that is boring me for some reason. I'd like to get back to the knitted shawl I was working on, and that darned African Flower baby blanket that has been in time out since April. I really don't want to get back to that but I should.

Hugs to you Kathy, no tears about the vest.

It's funny to read this after having already read/seen the finished vest! I'm glad you kept breathing.
