Try it, You'll LIke it?

 No Knitting content today,
just some products that I've found that are interesting.

The Light n Go Bonfire  is 9.99 at Home Improvement Stores.
I don't think it would keep anyone warm around Chicago in the winter, but I do think a few of them lit up would look lovely in the snow.

No it is not mascara  - its a wand for fly away hairs.  The wand puts the products just where you think you need it.  Considering the winter is upon us and the dry air around here makes ALL my hairs misbehave, I may have to try this.  Seriously, static makes my hair take on a life of it's own .....

There are not many scientific cat books on the market but John Bradshaw has a new one.  I wanted to love this book.
It is too technical for my liking, but I have learned a few things and I will finish it.
Did you know that cats do not need Vitamin C?
This made them more than ideal workers on many ships as they traveled the high seas.  Not only did they control the mouse population aboard ships, they left the fruit to the sailors so they wouldn't get scurvy.
Finally, I like the look of this Pampered Chef cookie press.
My old press is a pain to fill and is motorized.
I think this one looks simpler to fill.
Yes, I am thinking of Christmas cookies and it is not even
Thanksgiving....

I hate the fuss of cut out cookies, but I love a shaped cookie.
I may just have to resort to a Playdoh press......

Have you found anything new lately?

Ooh - I like the look of that bonfire log - that would certainly help my fire-starting-challenged guy. Whenever we go to the cottage, I take over fire-building duty, because it's just too painful to watch him try!

Not much of a shopper this week. I do like the idea of those logs though. They look pretty interesting.

I love the cat fact: they don't need vitamin C. I'll get some mileage out of that knowledge today!

I completely understand your focus on cookie presses and cookie baking. It doesn't need to be THAT close to Christmas/Holidays to feel the season is not only upon us, but here.

Bake away Kathy!

That flyaway hair product looks cool. You should see my hair right now.

I got the Stone Wave, but haven't used it yet. I'll let you know how it goes.

I will look for the bonfire logs. They look perfect for chilly Texas evenings around the patio.

The hair wand is a great idea for someone like you with plentiful hair. For me it is a matter of slap a hat on and let it control the wispy hair--what there is of it!

I love Pampered Chef stuff! The cookie press looks great and I love my pie crust roller. It's a hand roller that I even use for crushing nuts and bread crumbs.

You do come up with the most interesting products.

I love to make cut-out sugar cookies but hate to frost them. Love to eat frosted ones, so I force myself from time to time. ;oD

Hmmmm... interesting that they need no Vitamin C. Nope I've found nothing new... haven't been out and about either. I hope we get to see some of these kind of cookies soon. ;) blessings ~ tanna

I need a new cookie press. Mine is awful. I am afraid to buy a new one because I might find out that the problem is me and not the press. I love spritz cookies but have no talent for them.
Something new.....I bought myself a stuffed Boo dog at Micheal's with a 50% off coupon this week. I had never seen the cute little fellow on You Tube before but I fell in love with his stuffed counterpart. He is sitting here now looking at me and wondering when I am going to knit him a sweater. He's all the dog I need right now.
