Babies and Things

Speaking of babies, here is tiny Pie at 7 months of age.
She will sit with Troy and Zach but rarely sits with me!
I have to remind her I was the one in her adoption corner....
ahem.
Great friend Linda who got me working in the OR at the shelter, made this baby shower fruit platter Sunday.
I know many of you have seen it, but she said it was very easy to do.
Everyone at the shower loved it.
The lavender cabled baby blanket that I made a month or so ago, was my gift.
Everyone loved it too!!
AL wanted a Thanksgiving wreath and asked me to
shop at our great local Holiday Craft Fair at the Grove.
I found this beauty.  IF you live near me, the Grove fair is always  great, but seemed full of extra good things this year.

So that was my weekend.!!!  I love being off to go to showers and watch football with my guys at home.
And there was knitting too!

Do you have a local holiday craft fair that you wait for each year?

I would love to go to the Grove Fair!! It has been years since I have been to any holiday fairs so I think I'm about due. My weekend was all about football. The guys decided it was more important than golf so I didn't get a chance to watch my recordings of Haven and Revenge. Tonight is my TV night!

That fruit tray is the cutest thing I've seen for a baby shower! I love it.

Your wreath is beautiful.

Love that watermelon ....too cute.

We have craft shows around here in the fall, but I haven't been in years! I hate crowds.
That's a lovely wreath.
There are a couple of craft shows in my area around our Thanksgiving in October that I used to try to hit - haven't been able to for the last couple of years though.

I like to see all the pumpkin decorations this time of year.

Such great photos! Are you shipping that wreath or does Al have to come home to enjoy it?

Mmmm....that fruit baby looks yummy. We have several big craft fairs here but I never go to them since my house looks like a craft fair most of the time. I pity whoever has to clean this place out when my time comes.

Wow, I've never seen a melon baby before. I really like it! I want to make one without a baby reason. I don't have an annual fair I go to, but I'm always happy to stumble across one...

Sounds like a fun weekend! That melon salad is adorable. We had a good weekend also, DD#1 was in town.

Ha! Cats are such ingrates. Theo is definitely MY cat, even though I remind him that it was actually my husband who picked him out at the shelter. But it evens out, as the cat I had before we got married has decided that even though I rescued her, she prefers my husband. :)
