Fast Fun and Fabulous

 Dahlia's at the Botanic Garden
More Lovelies at the Garden, what are these flowers??
The Weekend Wrap really only took about a weekend.
I'm not used to size 17 needles.
(it feels amazing to go back to size 2 double points and socks
this morning)

The COCO pattern was very very easy because even I could do it.
I want to make another in the yarn that Karen used.
My finish is fine but her's was better.
The drape of my yarn is perfect though.  The SILKY TWEED behaved exactly as I wished it would.
I have one little dropped stitch issue at the neck that I hope Karen can remedy for me.
More pictures when I have a photographer to help me.

IF you are even thinking of making it, go ahead.
It's fast and fun and fabulous!

Lovely wrap, perfect color and drape, I think your finish is pretty goo, too.

Are those Narcissus? I love the wrap. I have a skein of Malabrigo lace and was wondering what to do with it. I just don't know if I can handle size 17 needles!!

I believe they are orange iris.

Perhaps the flowers are Cannas? They are beautiful summer flowers in our area, and very drought resistant, which is a good thing.

Sheesh! Size 17 needles? I don't think I would like using those, although some of my friends use them to knit prayer shawls. I'll stick with socks, and occasionally something that requires a little larger needle.

Congratulations on your weekend finish!

My hands always rebel a bit when I change needle sizes. It takes a while for them to adapt, but I think it's good for my hands.

What a pretty wrap for fall and it only took a weekend!? That's amazing! I know what you mean about those bigger needles. They're fast but awkward to knit with. I prefer the smaller sock needles too. :-)
