Weekend Wrap by CoCo Knits, Julie Weisenberger

I feel in love with a vest today.
Karen found the perfect pattern for me.
THe Weekend Wrap by Coco Knits
is something I can do!
Here I am showing you the drape of it.
I have just the yarn in my stash.
Thank you Karen, again.

Kathy C prefers the complex and this sweater is going to be gorgeous. Its not purple, it's navy but that's the flash going off.

Now for 5 quick knitterly  things :

*Caroleknits Ten on Tuesday was all about books yesterday. (recommendations)

*Mere's blog had a few nice contest links

*I learned the RUSSIAN join today.
Some knitters are really smart.

*I love to knit to the baseball playoffs and Series.
GO Tigers.  AL is a Detroit fan now.

*It is sunny and chilly; perfect day for a hand knit shawl.

have you fallen in love lately?

Wow, how did I get so far behind on reading your blog? Sounds like you've been having a great time though. Glad the weather cooperated and Al made it home OK. Those visits go way to fast, don't they. Hope Sarah got the box! Oh, and that's an interesting vest!

That is one fun vest!
About that love thing....I know it is better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all but at the moment I still haz big sad.

I am in love with our Eye Clinic. They went the extra mile yesterday to make sure Sissy had eye drops. I fall in love with the Knight all over again every single time he talks baby talk to the dogs and fusses over them.

That is a lovely vest - looking forward to seeing yours!

Have I fallen in love lately ... not that I know of. But I did just spend a week obsessing over what should have been a simple pattern design - the increases would just not come right. I guess you could say I fell OUT of love with math. (Again.)

Well I'm pretty much in love with this beautiful fall weather we're having lately and now thanks to you, I've decided to spend the rest of the evening learning the Russian Join. :-) Love learning new knitting stuff.

It's odd but I have fallen in love with a knit project recently and I think it is the sweater that Kathy C is making. I have the pattern and am waiting for the yarn but I have to finish two more mitts and a sock first.

Thankfully, our weather is cooling. We are in the 80s and loving it!!

That vest is perfect, just what you have been looking for. I love the playoff and am thrilled that my Rays are still in the running, boo to the Tigers, I even grew up in Michigan and am still saying Boo to them.
Hugs,
Meredith

Sigh ....I thought I was in love, but sadly, it was a fleeting infatuation.

(I'd really like to be DONE my current sock.)

You new vest project will be lovely.

I bought the pattern this morning for the Weekend Wrap and have yarn picked out from my meager stash (I quit buying yarn about 5-6 years ago and tried to just use what I have!).

Light gray/black!
