Up Next....

Up next: Fingerless.  Thanks to Katherine, I'm headed for a pair of fingerless.  I have never made a long, long pair so  I went looking last night on Ravelry.  What did we do before Ravelry?  My  cast on is a few days away.
I am monogamously knitting the purple cabled baby blanket but I may cave soon.

The blanket is 19 inches long and 23 inches wide as of this morning.

Up Next: AL
In other big news, the countdown has begun...
Al comes home for a visit on  Thursday and we can't wait!

Up Next:

I"m trying to eat up everything in our freezer.  What' s left?  Nothing I want to eat, Funny how that works.  There is a box of Cheddar Pierogis ( I did not buy these), 2 bags of frozen cranberries, (I"ll make some bread today) and some icky frozen vegetables with a sauce I am not fond of.   This is not a episode of CHOPPED, thank goodness.

Up Next:  I am publicly thanking Lurker Knitter Nurse Friend Diane.  Diane thanks for the amazing Sunflower Seed Butter.
Sunbutter is so delicious.  Zach, Fireman and I are nearly finished with the jar you so nicely dropped off.  I ' dont' think I'll ever go back to peanut butter again.

What's UP Next?

I think I need to knit a pair of above-the elbow fingerless mitts for wogging. Thanks for the inspiration.

Enjoy your visit with Al!

Great that Al is coming to visit. She will get to meet her baby sister Pie too. enjoy every minute of the visit.
Did Al get to meet my 2 little rowdy boys? I can try to send a new picture if you'd like.
I'm knitting a blanket as well. It is for my first great niece or nephew that is due in early Dec.

I've made those second mitts and it's a fun pattern. Heh, we have 2 bags of cranberries in our freezer, too; I think they are quite well aged by now. Have a great visit with your DD!

Ooooo, the long fingerless mitts look enticing! I'm anxious to see what you cast on. I may be inspired to check out the longer lengths myself!

I like fingerless mitts. I think I'm going to knit some in my son's soccer team colors.

Enjoy your visit! Can't wait to hear about it :)

Al would LOVE to see the boys growing. She was not home this January when they were born but she's heard of them!

I think the white mitts are my favorite of the ones you showed.

Have a good visit with Al.

I love those long mitts. I think I might need a pair too!

I highly recommend Susie's Reading Mitts! I've made multiple pairs for myself and for gifts and I've loved all of them. I will say I added about an inch to the wrist of the mitt (below the thumb) but I'm pretty tall and hate when there is a gap between my coat/sleeve and my mitts/mittens/gloves. I'm sure whichever you choose will be grand.

I was trying to put half fingers in my current pair of fingerless mitts and couldn't remember how to do it. I'm strictly no stress right now so the gloves have a plain ribbed top!

I know how excited you must be about Al coming home!! Have a wonderful visit.

We frequently have pierogis with steamed broccoli or kale. Good stuff!!

I love that white pair - Suzy's reading mitts, right? What's up next? I need to start knitting shawls for THE wedding, but really don't want to. I'm thinking another hemlock ring blanket instead. g

I have fingerless mitts on my To Knit List, just not sure when that is going to happen.

My freezer really needs to be cleaned -- yes, I have frozen cranberries, too.

Some of those gloves look amazing! I will have to go search for them. Also - are we friends on Ravelry? Have I asked this before? I am bookwyrm on there... if we're not friends, look me up! :)
