Super Sentimental Saturday

This is how Kathy B's family takes family photos.
They just don't.
Unless they are warned, prepared and begged they just keep walking.

So, from the left.(.haha)
Al, Zach and Fireman at the Chicago Botanic Gardens today-
I love them all so much.  Even if we are stuck in traffic together
and all on our own cell phones, I'm happy because everyone is within my arms reach for precious short time.
"This is the closest to Hana Hawaii we are going to get for a good long time" I announce at the Gardens waterfall.
Zach
was taking pictures of the same things I was taking pictures of.
The difference in our photography is astounding.
I'll get him to share a photo or two from his camera this week.

I finished the baby blanket last night.  I washed it in
Eucalan (?) today.  Love me some no rinse
knit soap for a gift blanket.

It's a great weekend here at our house.  (Even the hummingbirds came back and we thought they were gone for the year.)

Thanks for letting me gush

You can gush anytime, it is not often you are all together. I am so thankful when my son is home for a visit, he doesn't even have to talk to me, just knowing he is sleeping in his bed makes me so happy.
Hugs,
Meredith

Gush away!

Can't wait to see the finished blanket with all its cabled goodness.

I love candid photos and families that enjoy being silly together.

Enjoy your time! Our family has certain photo behaviours too - we tend to take pictures of each other taking pictures ... which is pretty boring but we get a laugh out of it.

Those Botanic Gardens looks beautiful.

Sorry - ought to have said "Them Botanic Gardens looks beautiful." (Channelling my inner hillbilly.)

Giggle... I think that's a lovely family photo. The Knight would have been stomping away, perhaps making a rude gesture...

Go right ahead and gush! How great to have the family together! By the way, the Botanical Garden pictures are so pretty. Kind of amazing what can be grown on well-cared-for grounds!

I'm anxious to see the finished baby blanket too!

They may just keep walking, but I think that makes a lovely action shot! Granted, it's hard to see faces that way, but still... :)
