It's All GOOD.

Still plugging away at the baby blanket.  It is for, friend, Stephanie who is having her first baby.   I'm on my 3rd skein of yarn.  I have to take out one of my children's blankets and lay it next to it for size...
Tomorrow my Trauma Princess comes home!!

She texted me this image early this a.m. She and I are NOT day shift people.  She says' TRAUMA at 0700 is not my thing.'
Trauma is never my thing. She gets this from her daddy-0.
She looks so young to have such responsibility on her shoulders.  Who says kids today are not amazing?
Not me.

Great looking cable baby blanket. That's so cool!

Kudoos to anyone who gets up early to deal with trauma victims. Oh my gosh! Bless them all. Yes, young folks like her give me faith that the younger generation has some very capable, reliable, industrious, creative, resilient individuals! WE need them!!

Love the photo of your Trauma Princess. I was always glad for folks who loved the late shifts... I, on the other hand, loved the 0700 rush. ;) I know you will enjoy having your princess home! The blanket is beautiful and I know your friend, Stephanie will treasure it. blessings ~ tanna

Nope, I would never say that!! I look at my ER nurse and your Trauma Princess and KNOW that they are, as my mom used to say, "a different breed of cat."

I love the blanket and wish we could see a picture of the baby wrapped in it!

Wow, the baby blanket is gorgeous - lucky baby!

Al looks great in the photo - enjoy your visit. Make sure to take and share a photo of you and Al knitting together - cocktails are optional.

I am trying to make a baby blanket too.
My doctor is having a baby and I want to get it done before she is on leave.
I give you both credit for doing ER or nursing work. My mother keeps telling me I should have gone into it.
one of my sisters is a nurse (so she followed in my mother's footsteps). This sister is also at the moment expecting baby #5.

I'll take her day shift if she'll take my evening and night shifts. You know... if I still did shift work...

Won't it be wonderful having your girl home for a little while.

Thank goodness for all you TRAUMA people no matter what time of day or what day of the year. You are angels in scrubs.

The blanket looks great! Having to do anything at 0700 is A LOT LESS GREAT.
