OOPS

Oops.  I mislead you all.  The Shibu yarn was Leslie's take.  Today I'll show you Ellen's take.  Sarah and Grace be on the lookout.  Then the goodies head back home to me.  I for one would have kept the green and yellow yarn below.  If you've never joined a swap they are fun. Try it sometime.
Miss Pie has an eye infection.  This is not a good thing.  Say a little prayer for her. I fear she may have to have her eyes removed some day if they continue to be unhealthy.
I read the best chapter yet in the book about the blind cat Homer.  Here is her fall debut photo in plaid.  Channon, fashionista, do you approve?
My oops on the baby blanket this weekend was pretty easily fixed.  I went about 4 inches without doing a cable....
needless to say I ripped that part back.
What was I thinking?

Any oops by you?

THE BOYS AND I WILL HAVE BABY PIE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. PLAID IS GREAT FOR HER, ESPECIALLY LOVE HER WITH THE RED. WHISKERS LOOKS GREAT ON RED TOO.

Pie looks GREAT in (on?) plaid. We removed Sissy's eye so that we - and she - would be done messing with it. As long as the sightless eye is there, there is the chance for injury and infection. You're wise to be prepared, but then again, lots of sightless pets manage to keep the eyes for life.

I need to blog my swap goodies!

Everyone at our house will say a special prayer for Pie, but we know that she is loved, so in the end it will be fine.

Sweet little Pie--I will be praying for her. I just know that her eye will be okay. God loves His little beasties!!

I had an oops this weekend. I have knitted fingers in gloves more times than I can count, but when I decided to put half fingers in the green sparkled Simply Soft mitts...nothing. I was totally unable to remember how to do it so I just finished the mitt as an open fingerless glove. I'll look it up on the internet later!

Thinking about little Pie and hoping for the best! Sarah's package was on its way as of Sat. evening. Hope it's not too hot in AZ for her to enjoy some yarn. I'm working on a shawl that causes an oops almost every row; thank goodness for life lines!

I hope some antibiotics will take care of little Pie's eye infection.

Oh no.....my little blind doggie always has eye issues but they have always responded well to her antibiotic drops. I have to clean them carefully everyday and be mindful of things that can poke her.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery for your sweet little one and bless you for your patience with her. There are not a lot of people who would go to the trouble.

Hope Pie gets better soon! We were driving the country roads last night and a lady came out of a very sad looking house and there were 30 cats following here. How funny. Guess she would qualify as a cat lover!

No big knitting oops this week because I haven't really been knitting - too many other things in the works.

I purchased a new knitting chair and can't wait for it to be delivered on Thurs.

Sending good wishes to Pie and to you, too.
